▲ Former Hokkaido Government Office Building
Built in 1888, the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, also known as the Red Brick Building, is a brick structure built in the American Neo-Baroque style. It served as the administrative headquarters for Hokkaido for 80 years. It now houses a free museum that details the history of Hokkaido since 1888 and is well worth a visit.
▲Sapporo Clock Tower
Originally known in Japanese as "Sapporo City Clock Tower," it is a famous landmark in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It is one of the few surviving American-style buildings in Hokkaido. It symbolizes the introduction of Western education to Japan in the 19th century and the development of Hokkaido, and is now designated an Important Cultural Property.

Odori Park is located in the heart of Sapporo City. It runs east-west from Odori Nishi 1-chome to Odori Nishi 12-chome in Chuo Ward, stretching approximately 1.5 kilometers and covering an area of approximately 78,901 square meters. It's not the typical size of a park as you might imagine.
▲Tanukikoji Shopping Street
The site of Tanukikoji Shopping Street already had a small number of shops and restaurants in the early Meiji era. Tanukikoji flourished due to its proximity to Hokkaido's main arterial road and river transport, and the development of the nearby Susukino Entertainment District. With a wide selection of daily necessities, souvenirs, and other daily necessities, it has become a shopping paradise for tourists visiting Hakodate.

Hokkaido University and its graduate schools are a national university with approximately 33 departments. The Sapporo campus is 38 times the size of Tokyo Dome. As a national university dating back to the Meiji period, the campus is filled with historical relics and a sense of history. ▲ Hitsujigaoka Observatory
Hitsujigaoka's most famous bronze statue, William Smith Clark, is the founder of Hokkaido University and a key landmark. While lamb dishes are not commonly found in Japan, Hokkaido's Gotsugaoka is known for its famous Genghis Khan lamb dish. They also offer a wide variety of goat milk-based snacks, and more. While this might be a challenge for mainland Japanese, it's a common delicacy for Chinese. Enjoying lamb while admiring the stunning scenery of Gotsugaoka is a truly wonderful experience.
▲ Okurayama Observatory
Originally a ski jumping stadium donated to Sapporo by the founder of the Okura zaibatsu, it was renamed the "Okurayama Ski Jumping Stadium" during a major renovation for the 1972 Winter Olympics. Many international competitions are still held here. A chairlift is located next to the spectacular ski jump, offering breathtaking views of Hokkaido's scenery from the top.

This lush park in the city center offers a variety of activities, including iris pond tours, a Japanese garden, and stargazing at the observatory. Many of the buildings within Nakajima Park are designated as important cultural properties of Japan. ▲Hokkaido Jingu Shrine
Located in Maruyama Park, Hokkaido Jingu Shrine, enshrined the guardian deities of Hokkaido's development (also known as the gods of development)—Okuni-otama, Oonamuchi, and Sukunahikona—by order of Emperor Meiji. The shrine's main hall burned down in 1974 and was rebuilt in 1978. It is revered and beloved by many Japanese people. The snow-capped winter shrine adds an elegant and solemn atmosphere.

Jozankei Onsen was discovered by the monk Miizumi Jozan in 1866. Following the establishment of the Hokkaido Development Commission, officials began developing the hot springs and even building roads. Initially, the official name was "Jozankei," but after the implementation of Japan's Family Registration Law, the name was changed to "Miizumi Jozan." Jozankei Onsen boasts abundant, high-quality spring water, known for its remarkable skin benefits and is a beloved hot spring.
