Travel Notes
[Booking Instructions]
. The SUP activity at Beautiful Bay is suitable for those aged 16 and above with no chronic health conditions and a regular exercise habit. Those with good stamina and the ability to paddle the entire trip can choose a single person per board. Alternatively, two people per board can take turns resting. Please book in multiples of two.
. Wave conditions at Beautiful Bay SUP vary depending on the weather. If you are not a regular exerciser or are prone to motion sickness, this trip will be tiring. We recommend considering your health before deciding whether to participate.
. Pregnant women and those with medical conditions should not register for the activity. If you are found to be ineligible on-site, you will not be able to participate.
. After booking, please be sure to complete your participant information, including height, weight, and foot size, in the order form to facilitate the arrangement of a jellyfish suit and river shoes.
. River trekking shoe sizes are usually based on actual foot length (Japanese sizing). Those with wider feet should choose a larger size for greater comfort.
Since the jellyfish suit and river trekking shoes are prepared in advance, please contact customer service if you have a specific body type or are unsure of your size to avoid affecting your rights and privileges in participating in the Beautiful Bay SUP activity.
Since SUP boards have a weight limit, passengers under 100 kg are only allowed. Please notify us in advance if you weigh over 100 kg for evaluation. Board configuration may be adjusted on-site. Please provide any fees to the instructor on-site. If you have any questions, please contact customer service before registration.
For the Beautiful Bay SUP activity, you will meet at the Taitung Fishery Security Inspection Station and then travel with your instructor to the launch point (approximately 5-10 minutes away).
[ Itinerary Information ]
There are no restrooms in the natural setting, preserving the natural environment. Only simple changing tents are provided on site.
. The wind and waves in the open sea can change rapidly, and SUP paddling is significantly affected by wind direction. The east coast is also subject to the typical summer monsoon. To ensure the safety of all members, the instructor reserves the right to adjust the itinerary or return early depending on wind and wave conditions.
. Please cooperate with the group during the activity. We will not be held responsible for any accidents caused by detaching from the group or ignoring instructions.
. Departures are group-based. Once the group has left shore, latecomers will not be accommodated (and no refunds will be given). Please be especially careful not to be late, as this will affect your rights.
. The tour date may be rescheduled due to weather conditions. However, if there are unforeseen circumstances, a rescheduling or refund will be made, minus insurance and handling fees, with one week's notice.
