The Taitung Hot Air Balloon Festival is underway! Hop on a dedicated shuttle bus departing from downtown Taitung and skip the hassles of arranging transportation. Enjoy a relaxing and fun half-day experience, complete with stops along the way, like the fun grass sliding experience at Chulu Ranch or the hidden gem of a swinging ice cream cone! This route is only available during the Taitung Hot Air Balloon Festival (July 11 to August 30, 2020). Four people are required to enjoy the Taitung Hot Air Balloon Festival with ease.

Travel Notes

- Children under 3 years old do not occupy a seat and only pay an administrative insurance fee of $100 per person. Children 3 years and older are charged the same adult price.
- This tour provides transportation only and does not include the hot air balloon ride. If passengers wish to arrange their own hot air balloon ride or other activities at the Taitung Hot Air Balloon Carnival venue, please note the departure time. Failure to take the return trip will be considered a forfeit and no refund will be given.
- This half-day Taitung Hot Air Balloon Carnival tour is a shared vehicle tour. Vehicles and seats will be allocated based on the number of registered passengers on the day and cannot be specified.
- This half-day Taitung Hot Air Balloon Carnival tour may be adjusted by the tour leader based on factors such as the number of participants, the event season, or weather conditions. The tour will not be announced separately.
- Please meet on time on the day of the tour. No refunds will be given if passengers are unable to meet up or are delayed due to personal reasons.
- Tour Schedule: If insufficient numbers are available for the tour, we will notify you before the tour to reschedule or refund you in full.
- This half-day Taitung Hot Air Balloon Fiesta itinerary is not compatible with the Taitung Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Light Concert. The light concert schedule may be adjusted due to weather conditions and may be advanced or postponed. For those wishing to attend the light concert, we recommend the Taitung Hot Air Balloon Fiesta chartered car service, which allows for more flexible arrangements.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
