Penghu Undersea Walk offers Taiwan's only helmet-style diving experience. Even those who can't swim can walk on the seabed and experience the wondrous weightless floating sensation of inner space. You can even get up close and personal with the fish and feed them. Want to find treasure? Then head out to sea! Let's go! Explore the underwater world of snorkeling. Don a helmet and walk along a cable-stayed line, admiring the vibrant fish ecosystem and coral reefs!

- Undersea Walk Introduction -
Undersea Walk, also known as Sea Walk, involves a large SUP (Supporting Universal Platform) transporting guests from shore to a pirate ship. From there, guests don an astronaut-style helmet. A tube delivers oxygen to the helmet beneath the surface. Before entering the water, make sure you know the hand signals. Although the Undersea Walk helmet weighs approximately 35 kilograms, the buoyancy of the seawater creates a sense of weightlessness, like walking in outer space.

- Snorkeling Introduction -
Depending on the water and wave conditions, we will launch at either Hangwan or Shanshui.

※In case of strong winds and waves, we will move to another location.

- SUP Introduction -
One to two people per board will launch from Shanshui Beach. After instruction and testing, you can follow the instructor's paddling.

➤ Penghu Undersea Walk - First Experience Helmet Diving

◥

It's time to board the pirate ship! Change your clothes and take a rest. You can freely try exciting diving on the ship and leave your best pose.

◥

➤ Go snorkeling ~ Head to the secret diving spot - Undersea Mailbox (you can purchase postcards at your own expense on site and hand them over to the instructor to mail them underwater)

◥

Along the way, you can experience feeding fish and admiring coral reefs (depending on the wave conditions, you can go into the water at either Hangwan or Shanshui).

◥

Enjoy a relaxing SUP (two people per board) in the bay and appreciate the beauty of Penghu from a different perspective from the sea.

◥

Back on shore, rinse off with hot water and change clothes. Check in and share to receive snacks and replenish your energy!

Travel Notes

The Penghu Underwater Walk is suitable for ages 6 and up, under 65.

The Shanshui Beach Underwater Walk offers a variety of experiences, with the flexibility to choose a single experience (approximately 2 hours) or a combination of two experiences (approximately 3 hours).

Please arrive 10 minutes in advance for the Penghu Underwater Walk. Late arrivals will result in no refunds.

The Penghu Underwater Walk has a maximum depth of 3 meters. While you may experience tinnitus, it is not a risk of divers' sickness.

The Penghu Underwater Walk will be held at sea. Those prone to motion sickness or seasickness should bring their own seasickness medicine.

After boarding the pirate ship, you can experience diving. This is a complimentary experience and is not mandatory.

If sea conditions permit, both the Underwater Walk and Snorkeling Experience packages will include a diving experience and a cruise to the underwater mailbox (postcards can be sent on-site at your own expense).

Shanshui Seaside Park provides lockers, hot water showers, negative ion hair dryers, RO water (please bring your own water bottles), towels, and other amenities.

The pirate ship is equipped with restrooms, life jackets, and a simple first aid kit.

Photos will be taken during the activity, and you can download them to your Facebook page as a souvenir.

Please wear casual clothing; swimsuits may be worn under wetsuits.

To protect marine life, the use of any non-marine-friendly sunscreens (such as sunscreen lotions, sprays, creams, or powders) and chemical-based cleansers (soap, facial cleanser, shampoo, etc.) is strictly prohibited before or after entering the water.

Pregnant women, those who have consumed alcohol, those with cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, claustrophobia, asthma, obvious trauma, physical or mental disabilities, or those within six months of surgery are advised not to register for the Penghu Undersea Walk.

For safety reasons, anyone found by the instructor to have been drinking or taking drugs will not be allowed to participate and will not request a refund.

This activity is subject to the prevailing sea conditions on the day, and the company reserves the right to cancel the trip at its discretion.

If the Penghu Undersea Walk activity is canceled due to force majeure such as weather (natural disasters, storms), alternative activities may be offered, or refunds may be canceled.

This does not include any expenses not specified in the activity, such as transportation, meals, etc., any self-funded expenses or any expenses derived from the itinerary.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 4 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

Cancellations made on the day of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Rescheduling requests due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If you cancel your participation during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
