▲ Guanyin Mountain

Located at the junction of Wugu District and Bali District in New Taipei City, Taiwan, it reaches an elevation of 616 meters. Looking south from the north bank of the Tamsui River, it derives its name from the resemblance to a reclining Guanyin. The area boasts eighteen peaks, the summit of which, known as "Hard Man Ridge," is the only peak over 600 meters. Numerous ancient temples, such as Xiyun Temple and Lingyun Zen Temple, enhance Guanyin Mountain's spirituality. Bordering the Taiwan Strait to the west and overlooking Guandu across the Tamsui River to the northeast, the "Benling Tufo" (Mist Spouting from the Benling Ridge) was once one of the eight scenic spots of Tamsui, making it a popular destination for hiking and trekking.

Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area is densely packed with trails, with paths and valleys connecting to each other. With routes of varying difficulty, it's a popular hiking destination. There are seven hiking trails in Guanyin Mountain: Linshao Trail, Niugangling Trail, Yinghanling Trail, Fengguidouhu Trail, Fulongshan Trail, Niuliaopu Trail, and Jianshan Trail. Here, you can watch eagles, get close to nature, and hike to enjoy the stunning views of the Taipei Basin.

Located in the Guanyin Mountain Visitor Center, the landscaped cafe boasts resident leopard cats. Weekdays, the felines roam the grounds, allowing for close interaction. On weekends, the cats roam in a transparent cat house. The Leopard Cafe Forest Pavilion menu offers pasta, light meals, afternoon tea, and more. It's a great place for cat lovers to relax after a hike on Guanyin Mountain.

▲ Bali Left Bank Bike Path
The Bali Left Bank Bike Path runs from the mouth of Guanyinkeng Creek to the Baxian Coast, covering approximately 14 kilometers. The paved route, alternating between wooden plank roads and concrete pavement, runs along the banks of the Tamsui River, passing the Guandu Bridge and the Bali Ferry Terminal, all the way to the Waziwei Ecological Reserve and the Shisanhang Museum. Combining cultural heritage, ecology, and historical sites, this leisurely cycling route blends seamlessly with riverside scenery.

▲ Thirteen Hong Museum Tickets
Located on the left bank of Bali, New Taipei City, Taiwan, the museum was built in 1998 and officially opened on April 24, 2003. As Taiwan's first municipal archaeological museum, it was established to preserve and promote the prehistoric culture of the Thirteen Hongs site. Formerly known as the Thirteen Hongs Site Relics Exhibition Hall, the buildings and plaza span approximately four hectares. The main building complex serves as a showcase for the site, housing a permanent exhibition of important artifacts unearthed from the site, special exhibition halls, and an archaeological learning and experience room. The museum showcases the relics and background of the Thirteen Hongs culture, the Botanical Garden culture, and the Yuanshan culture.
