Heping Island is located at the northern end of Keelung Harbor, east of the harbor, and is now connected to the mainland of Taiwan. Yehliu Geopark, also known as Yehliu Scenic Area, is a scenic area located in Yehliu Village, Wanli District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is within the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Areas. Due to its natural geological landscape, it has become a renowned tourist attraction on Taiwan's north coast and a favorite destination for international tourists. The Yehliu area is a headland where the Datun Mountain Range extends into the East China Sea. The local landscape has taken on unique shapes due to orogeny, weathering, and sea erosion, including the "Queen's Head," "Fairy Shoe," "Mushroom Rock," "Candlestick Rock," "Ginger Rock," and "Single-Sided Mountain."
