Tour Overview

Visit two of Hokkaido's most stunning tourist attractions, Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley) and Lake Toya, in one trip.

Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is Hokkaido's most representative hot spring, where the scalding hot water and rising steam make you feel as if you've entered the abode of Japanese demons.

Lake Toya, voted the clearest, unfrozen lake in Hokkaido, Japan, boasts stunning scenery with over a dozen surrounding mountains, offering breathtaking views of the city from every angle. Its crystal-clear waters, beautiful landscape, surrounding hot springs and camping areas, and even a cultural village showcasing the Ainu people, Hokkaido's indigenous tribe, make it a popular tourist destination in recent years! Don't miss this classic day trip to Noboribetsu Jigokudani in Hokkaido – a perfect blend of lakeside scenery, mountain views, and traditional cultural experiences!

- About the Attraction | Noboribetsu Jigokudani Day Trip –

▲ Lake Toya Lake Toya is the 9th largest lake in Japan and, like Lake Shikotsu, is unfrozen. Its beautiful scenery, thanks to the warm climate, has earned it a place among Hokkaido's three most scenic spots. Located in southwestern Hokkaido, Lake Toya is about 90 kilometers from Lake Shikotsu. Its beautiful environment and abundant hot springs have led to the development of numerous hot spring resorts and camping sites, making it a top choice for Japanese and international tourists visiting Hokkaido. ▲Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley)
Noboribetsu City is located between Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya, and is famous for its hot springs. At Mount Hiyori in Noboribetsu, there is a 450-meter-diameter fissure from a volcanic eruption. From this fissure, large amounts of hot white smoke and bubbling hot spring water erupt, leading locals to believe this landscape is a "hell inhabited by demons," hence the name "Noboribetsu Jigokudani" (Hell Valley).

▲Noboribetsu Brown Bear Ranch
In the past, the indigenous people of Hokkaido worshipped the Hokkaido brown bear as a deity. The Hokkaido brown bear is also the largest animal in Hokkaido, and even today, locals still revere these furry and adorable bears according to their ancestors' customs. Inside the ranch, over a hundred cute brown bears play carefree, and there are many adorable brown bear-themed merchandise items available. It's a unique experience not to be missed.
