Explore Toucheng, where art connects the scenery and people of its old streets. Departing from Taipei, board the "Art Bus," personally led by artists as you weave through the town's streets and exhibits, opening up a new way to experience the exhibition and discovering a different Toucheng in familiar alleyways. Hidden away in the old streets is the traditional Lanyang Banquet, a must-try. After lunch, you'll have time to stroll through the old streets and explore the local shops.

After a morning spent exploring Toucheng's creative landscape with artists, the afternoon will be your turn to get hands-on with your craft! First, learn about medicinal herbs, hand-pick herbs, and make mosquito repellent incense bags from a century-old Chinese medicine shop, learning the practical wisdom of the herbalist. Then, relax with a cup of tea at a popular cultural and creative café on Surf Street, where you can learn to carve custom-made surfboard pendants with leather carving instructors.

A day trip that begins with art and ends with handcrafting—you can not only see Toucheng's culture, but also take it home.

08:15 Meet at Taipei Main Station

10:00~12:00 Toucheng Old Street Art Festival – Art Bus: Invite artists to serve as guides to tour art exhibits around the town

Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Lanyang feast at Weijia Restaurant. After lunch, enjoy some free time to stroll around Toucheng Old Street and participate in art festival events.

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM DIY Chinese Herbal Mosquito Repellent Bag: Learn about Chinese medicinal herbs and try your hand at using traditional scales to precisely dispense the herbs. Take home this herbal secret recipe to scare away mosquitoes!

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM This Li Creative Café – Afternoon Tea / DIY Surfboard Leather Carving: Enjoy a light snack at the Café and learn how to create your own unique textured leather surfboard charm with guidance from a leather carver.

The trip is expected to end at 17:00 and return to Taipei Main Station

This tour requires a minimum of 30 participants per group. If insufficient participants are available after the registration deadline, we will notify you separately and may reschedule or cancel the tour with a refund.

Please meet on time on the day. No refunds will be given if you are unable to meet up or are separated from the group due to personal reasons.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
