When visiting Green Island, why miss an intimate encounter with the ocean? Green Island boasts one of Taiwan's most beautiful coral reef coastlines. Its crystal-clear waters often boast visibility exceeding 10 meters, and even surpassing 20 meters on clear days, making it an ideal spot for observing tropical underwater life. Snorkeling is available year-round, with March to November being the most popular months. You'll often encounter schools of colorful tropical fish, such as clownfish, butterfly fish, and parrotfish. With a bit of luck, you might even spot graceful sea turtles swimming nearby.

Led by certified professional instructors, each one will provide meticulous guidance and a full set of equipment, allowing you to enjoy the breathtaking underwater scenery with ease and peace of mind. Snorkeling doesn't require a license, making it easy for beginners and those with a fear of the water. Instructors will patiently guide you through the process, making this an ideal experience for families or first-time marine explorers.

In addition, instructors offer complimentary underwater filming services, using action cameras to capture your beautiful moments with the ocean, making this an unforgettable experience!

Activity process

Please arrive 10 minutes in advance to fill out the insurance form and change your snorkeling equipment.

Depart for snorkeling location: Shilang or Chaikou snorkeling area (please bring your own scooter and follow the instructor)

Arrive at the snorkeling area, equipment usage instruction and activity reminders

◥

Experience snorkeling and admire the azure underwater world of Green Island. The instructor will help you take beautiful photos in the water.

Return to the store after the activity (please bring your own motorcycle and follow the instructor)

◥

Rinse and change clothes, the activity ends

Travel Notes

The recommended age for the Green Island snorkeling experience is: Children aged 3 and above, and seniors aged 65 and below.

Please provide your own transportation to the snorkeling site with your instructor. The actual snorkeling experience lasts approximately 40 minutes.

The Green Island snorkeling experience will be primarily located in the Shilang or Chaikou snorkeling areas. The appropriate location will be determined based on the current and weather conditions.

The Green Island snorkeling equipment includes a mask, snorkel, wetsuit, life jacket, and non-slip shoes. Masks are available in both standard and prescription styles. Those with myopia are advised to wear contact lenses to avoid the unfamiliarity of wearing prescription masks and enhance comfort.

After the snorkeling experience, return to the base where cold water rinses are provided for a quick rinse and change of clothing.

Please ensure you are in good health. Those with heart disease, high blood pressure, or pregnant women are not suitable for this experience and should not register. Please meet on time on the day of the activity. No refunds will be given if a participant is separated from the group or cannot meet up due to personal reasons.

The overall activity schedule may be adjusted based on participant availability and weather conditions. Safety and overall quality are paramount. Please follow the instructor's instructions.

If you do not want photos uploaded to Facebook, please inform the instructor in advance, and no photos will be taken.

This activity requires 4 participants per group. If the group is insufficient, a rescheduling or refund will be issued at least 3 days in advance.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 6th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

Cancellations made on the start date of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the above cancellation policy.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
