-About Sicao Lake in Taijiang-

Located within Taijiang National Park, Sicao Lake is a lagoon formed by the confluence of the ancient salt transport canal, Yanshui River, and its drainage system. The lake boasts a rich and intact mangrove ecosystem, including salt-tolerant plants such as the sea sapling, red mangrove, olive tree, and water saplings, creating a natural green barrier. Due to its tranquil waters and pristine environment, this area has become an important habitat for migratory birds, attracting numerous waterfowl and wetland creatures to forage and reproduce each year. It is therefore known as the "Little Amazon of Taiwan" and is one of southern Taiwan's most representative wetland ecological attractions.

Travel Notes

[Registration Instructions]
． Due to the varying depths of Taijiang River and the presence of oyster shells underwater, the water quality is very nutritious. Falling into the water is not recommended, as it can easily cause cuts. This activity is more suitable for participants who have experience and are familiar with SUP control.
． This activity is suitable for participants aged 3 and above. Children aged 3-10 (inclusive) must share a board with an adult. For all other participants, the standard is one person per board, with a weight limit of 120 kg per board.
． Those with heart, asthma, high blood pressure, pregnant women, or other medical conditions should ensure that they are mentally, physiologically, and physically fit for this activity. Any disclosure will be at your own risk.
． If the activity is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather (strong winds and waves are considered weather-related) or national policies, before or upon arrival, the remaining balance will be refunded after deducting a handling fee of NT$100 per person.
． While ensuring safety, the instructor will prioritize ensuring your trip is on schedule. However, since SUP is a water activity, the activity may proceed in the event of rain. However, if everyone is already in the water after the activity begins and the activity is canceled due to weather conditions, no refunds will be given.

[Activity Reminder]
． After confirming your registration, the instructor will contact you with the detailed meeting location. Please pay attention to the phone number or message.
． Clothing recommendations: Lightweight, quick-drying clothing or a swimsuit, sandals, or flip-flops. Please bring a change of clothes for when you go ashore.
． If you wear glasses or sunglasses, please be sure to attach a lanyard. Contact lenses are also recommended.
． Please bring your own sunscreen and drinking water. You may bring breakfast/snacks on board.
． After the activity, a changing tent and bottled water will be provided on site for a quick rinse.

[Pet Participation Notice]
． This activity is pet-friendly. You can bring your furry friends along for free. It is recommended that your pet has swimming experience, is not afraid of water, and does not scratch (which could cause them to fall into the water). Their nails should be trimmed to avoid scratching the equipment.
． If you are bringing your pet, please bring your own buoyancy vest and leash. Please select the number of pets you will be bringing when booking to facilitate arrangements.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 3-6 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made within 2 days prior to the start of the trip (including the day of the trip) will not be refunded.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Rescheduling requests due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If you cancel your participation during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
