Tokyo is a global city representing Japan's political, economic, and cultural center. Thousands of tourists from around the world flock to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, Roppongi, and Odaiba to experience the energy that only a major city can offer. Beyond that, visitors can enjoy shopping, dining, and immerse themselves in cutting-edge culture. There are countless ways to enjoy the city, depending on your purpose, company, and mood.

- Attraction Introduction-

▲ Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel
One of Japan's three major gorges, its 50-100-meter-high columnar joints create a majestic spectacle. It is a nationally designated Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument. Its steep columnar joints are truly spectacular. The Kiyotsu River's turbulent flow and sheer cliffs create a magnificent landscape. The canyon scenery can be admired from observation decks along the tunnel. The 750-meter-long pedestrian tunnel, the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel, is also a must-see.

▲ Honon-no-kan
Also known as the Northern Culture Museum, this was the residence of Edo-period landowner Ito Bunkichi. His descendants established this museum to showcase art and crafts such as calligraphy, paintings, pottery, and lacquerware. The museum building itself is the main building of Ito's residence, built in 1882. The gardens, which are located in front of the residence, can be viewed from the lobby every November. This is when the autumn leaves are at their peak, creating a breathtaking view.

▲ Sado Gold Mine
Discovered in 1601, it boasted the world's largest gold reserves at the time. The Sado Gold Mine supported the Tokugawa shogunate's finances for 300 years. The excavated tunnels stretch a total of 400 kilometers. Animatronic wax figures recreate the gold mining scene of the time, along with displays of tools, ancient documents, and intricate diagrams. You can also observe some of the tunnels used during the mining period.

▲ Ogi Port Tub Boat Experience

To facilitate catching abalone, lobster, and shellfish, island fishermen developed a tub boat, a convenient means of transport for navigating the rocks. Its unique shape, flexible steering, and free-flowing maneuverability allow you to fully enjoy the feeling of rowing in an old-fashioned laundry tub. In the popular Japanese animated film "Spirited Away," Chihiro rides this unique tub boat. Don't miss this opportunity to reminisce.

▲ Ouchi-juku

Entering Ouchi-juku, Aizu Nishi-kaido, centered on thatched houses, is Ouchi-juku's busiest street. It was once a crucial transportation hub connecting Aizuwakamatsu in Fukushima Prefecture and Nikko City. Its traditional thatched houses have been designated an "Important Preservation Area for Groups of Traditional Buildings" by the Japanese government, and are considered one of the most scenic thatched village towns, along with Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture and Miyama-cho in Kyoto.

▲ Free Wi-Fi (one per room). If traveling alone, you'll need to share the Wi-Fi with your roommates. ★

[Internet Adapter Usage Instructions]

Each room is provided with a complimentary Internet Adapter. If not used, there is no refund. If you wish to use an Internet Adapter for the entire tour, an additional fee of NT$2,500 will be required. Please inform the tour operator 7 days prior to departure.

These Internet Adapters are compatible with various European telecommunications companies, and speeds vary depending on the frequency and region of the country.

This router offers unlimited 4G data. After 500MB of daily usage, speeds will be reduced, but you can still use it for light data usage, such as Line text messaging, Google Maps, WeChat, and email. The data is reset daily at 00:00 Taipei time.

Middle East Telecom's signal is weak in rural and suburban areas, so the router will be constantly searching for a signal. Please be patient.

To avoid internet service interruptions caused by excessive usage, it is recommended to disable programs such as Dropbox, iCloud, and automatic app updates before traveling abroad. Also, avoid watching data-intensive services such as online TV and YouTube. Excessive usage within a short period of time may cause the telecommunications company to disconnect or throttle the speed, and we will not be able to refund fees in this case.

We provide the router as a courtesy. Please use it properly. If the device is lost or damaged, we will compensate you for NT$5,500 per device. Accessories (including the power plug, charging cable, and device packaging) will be compensated for a total of NT$300.

After the trip, please return it to the tour leader at the airport on the day of your return. You may not bring it back for use.
