Kyushu, nestled between 30° and 35° north latitude, is a cultural hub of Japan, primarily producing rice, tea, tobacco, silk, and porcelain. Amidst the interplay of volcanic wonders and the natural beauty of the French Riviera, Kyushu nurtures a blend of ancient charm and modern fashion, serving as a showcase for Eastern art. Who says intriguing historical events are hard to come by? Once you arrive in Kyushu, you'll find a dazzling interplay of ancient and modern traditions, like a book of life you'll want to turn endlessly.

- Attraction Introduction -

▲ Hita - Mamemachi Old Street
Visit Mamemachi Old Street, a historic street dating back to the Edo period. Explore traditional Japanese confectionery shops and bamboo basket shops, offering a glimpse into life back then. Strolling through the nostalgic streets, you'll experience the charm of Edo-era Japan. The whitewashed, earthenware-style buildings evoke the simple charm of the Edo period, making you feel like you've stepped back in time. Hita, often called Little Kyoto, still retains the legacy of Tenryo culture.

▲ Kyushu Natural Wildlife Park

Recreating the living environments and habits of animals, this park features large carnivores (lions, tigers, and cheetahs), herbivores (elephants, giraffes, and rhinos), and smaller animals (ponies, kangaroos, hedgehogs, and more) living in a natural zoo setting. On the Jungle Bus, you can observe and feed lions, giraffes, and other animals up close. The thrill of feeding allows you to experience the animals' wildness, a thrilling experience that will delight both adults and children.

▲ Yufuin Yunotsubo Kaido

Yufuin, known as the "Land of Morning Mist and Irrigated Springs," is a tranquil and elegant resort town located in central Oita Prefecture. Originally, it consisted of a few small hot spring resorts on the shores of Lake Kinrin. In 1955, the Kyushu government merged Yufuin and Yudaira Village, giving rise to the current name "Yufuin." Here, you can freely explore Miffy Rabbit, Snoopy Tea House, and other unique shops.

▲ Uminonakamichi Marine World Aquarium

With a world-class panoramic aquarium featuring nearly 20,000 marine creatures from 450 species, Kyushu Water Forest is a beautiful aquarium with an ivory-white shell exterior, inspired by the nearby Tsushima Warm Current. It displays approximately 30,000 marine creatures from 450 species, ranging from nearshore to offshore. The magnificent 10-meter-high aquarium on the second and third floors allows for a glimpse of the fish below the seabed. The weather-resistant theater, which seats 1,465, hosts popular dolphin and sea lion shows daily.

▲ Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, the ancient cultural capital of Kyushu, is considered a Confucian temple in China. It enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, the "God of Learning." During the Japanese examination period, crowds flock to the shrine to pray. Tenmangu shrines throughout Japan use this shrine as their headquarters. The grounds feature attractions such as the Treasure Hall, the Heart Pond, and the Taiko Bridge. This area is covered in plum trees, with thousands bursting into bloom in early spring. Plum cakes and tea made from plums have become local specialties.

▲ Boating in Yanagawa, the Water City

A narrow, winding river, lined with flowers, green trees, and ancient red-tiled buildings, exudes an ancient charm. The renowned poet and fairy tale writer Kitahara Hakushu said, "Yanagawa is my birthplace, the source of my poetry." To truly experience the beauty of this water town, one must embark on a boat trip (like a ferryman's ferry) and enter the world of Hakushu's poetry.

[Internet Adapter Usage Instructions]

Each room is provided with a complimentary Internet Adapter. If not used, there is no refund. If you wish to use an Internet Adapter for the entire tour, an additional fee of NT$2,500 will be required. Please inform the tour operator 7 days prior to departure.

These Internet Adapters are compatible with various European telecommunications companies, and speeds vary depending on the frequency and region of the country.

This router offers unlimited 4G data. After 500MB of daily usage, speeds will be reduced, but you can still use it for light data usage, such as Line text messaging, Google Maps, WeChat, and email. The data is reset daily at 00:00 Taipei time.

Middle East Telecom's signal is weak in rural and suburban areas, so the router will be constantly searching for a signal. Please be patient.

To avoid internet service interruptions caused by excessive usage, it is recommended to disable programs such as Dropbox, iCloud, and automatic app updates before traveling abroad. Also, avoid watching data-intensive services such as online TV and YouTube. Excessive usage within a short period of time may cause the telecommunications company to disconnect or throttle the speed, and we will not be able to refund fees in this case.

We provide the router as a courtesy. Please use it properly. If the device is lost or damaged, we will compensate you for NT$5,500 per device. Accessories (including the power plug, charging cable, and device packaging) will be compensated for a total of NT$300.

After the trip, please return it to the tour leader at the airport on the day of your return. You may not bring it back for use.
