Though decommissioned, it still retains its original features, including the fort's base, ammunition ramp, corridor, and ammunition depot. Standing majestically, it guards the tranquility of Tamsui Harbor, gently chatting with travelers about the centuries-old stories that have unfolded here, and the hard-earned tranquility of today.

Tucked away among the trees at the end of the Huwei Arts and Cultural Trail, the Japanese-style building is the "One Drop of Water Memorial Hall," relocated from Oi Town, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. Its origins lie in the bond between Taiwan and Japan forged by the Great Hanshin Earthquake in Japan and the 921 Great East Japan Earthquake in Taiwan. Its relocation took five years, a 3,000-kilometer journey, and the labor of over 1,300 craftsmen and volunteers. The interior showcases the memorial's architectural structure and key architectural milestones, and houses the "Minakami Tsutomu Library" and the "Chen Shunchen Library," creating a platform for international literary exchange.
