▲ Hiking to Qika (Xueshan Trailhead - Qika Mountain Villa)
"Qika" was once a hunting ground for the Atayal people. Today, it's a vital section of the route from Shei-Pa National Park to the Xueshan Mountains, known as the Xuedong Route (from the trailhead to the Xueshan East Peak). Newly opened! The 2-kilometer one-way section from the Snow Mountain trailhead to Qika Mountain Resort has a daily limit of 80 people. Let's walk from the Snow Mountain trailhead to Qika Mountain Resort, wandering through the forest along the Qika section, and have a chance to encounter adorable animals!

▲ Leshui Tribe
Located in the mountains, Leshui Tribe boasts a vast alluvial plain and has been the granary of the Datong Township since the Japanese colonial period. The tribe utilizes the unique terrain to cultivate sun-dried rice, non-toxic fruits and vegetables, millet, and red quinoa using organic and environmentally friendly methods. Every year during the harvest season, many people come to personally pick vegetables and fruits, and even make their own cabbage kimchi, capturing the beauty of the season. Let the tribe lead you and me into the Atayal tribe, experience tribal life, and lose yourself in the joys of water.

▲ Siyuan Pass

Siyuan Pass, at an altitude of 1,945 meters, offers panoramic views of the Lanyang Valley during peak hours. In winter, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Nanhu Mountains, and Siyuan Yakou also has a high chance of snowfall. In spring, afternoons offer breathtaking views of the sea of clouds, creating an unforgettable and majestic spectacle.

The Qijiawan Site is one of the only known prehistoric cultural sites located below the Wuling Fuye Resort. Evidence of prehistoric human migration from west to east, including fishing, hunting, farming, and pottery, makes it a unique attraction at Wuling Farm. Descending past the site, visitors can reach the South Valley Park, where they can enter a beautiful garden, listen to the chirping of forest birds, and stroll to Wanshou Bridge to admire the crystal-clear Dajia River valley. Visitors can also spot leisurely swimming Cherry Landlocked Salmon. Looking toward Qijiawan Creek, a beautiful valley stretches out before you. Breathe deeply in the forest's phytoncides, feeling the play of light and shadow, and then wander leisurely to Wuling Hotel, where you'll learn about the past and present of Wuling Farm.

The main forest bathing trail in the area, stretching approximately 4.3 kilometers from Wuling Mountain Villa to Taoshan Waterfall, winds along the mountainside in a zigzag pattern. The trail is flanked by planted land, where the main tree species are two-leaf pine (interspersed with red cypress, Taiwan fir, and fragrant fir), and bayberry. Strolling along, enjoying the gentle breeze, listening to the sounds of birds, the water, and the rustling of pine trees, and soaking in the phytoncides, can truly unwind and unwind.
