Tour Overview

During the three-day camp, you will follow your tribal friends and live in the forest with them!

●

You will learn to make your own bowls out of bamboo, use forest plants as toothpaste, and make traps and slingshots out of plants, passing on the ancient wisdom and skills of the Paiwan people.

●

We welcome small groups of 7-14 people to charter a tour on their own date. Please contact customer service or register the Activity Request Form and someone will contact you.

After visiting the Gaoshi Tribe on the Hengchun Peninsula with our tribal friends, we explored the ancient wisdom of the Paiwan people in their interactions with the forest. We designed the unique three-day, two-night "Atevetevelji Paiwan Tribal Living Forest Camp," bringing everyone together in the mountains. This experience is not only a chance to experience life in harmony with nature, but also aims to preserve Taiwan's tribal culture and natural ecology, and give you the courage to make a difference.

During the camp, you'll learn to make your own bowls from bamboo, use forest plants as toothpaste, and craft traps and slingshots from plants. By learning about and interacting with the forest, you'll draw on the ancient wisdom of Paiwan ancestors, learn to use forest plants to start fires, and join hunters and companions on a picnic in the forest. Through the guidance of tribal residents, we'll preserve tribal culture and environmental sustainability, ensuring the wisdom of living on this land is passed down from generation to generation, leaving you with unforgettable memories.

Travel Notes

[Registration Instructions]
． This tour is recommended for children aged 10 and above, and the price is the same as for adults. If you bring a child, please be aware that you are responsible for their safety and that the noise level at night does not disturb other guests. If you are concerned about your child's dietary needs, please inform us in advance.
． The minimum group size is 7 people. Individual groups of 7 or more are welcome to register.
． Due to limited mountain resources, meals will primarily be vegetarian. Vegetarians should consider this before registering.
． If a guest leaves the group for personal reasons and is unable to meet up during the tour, no refund will be given.
． Rain, drizzling rain, and strong winds are normal during outdoor activities. Please prepare rain gear, waterproof clothing, and be prepared to accept these situations.
． If weather conditions or other force majeure events affect the tour, the company reserves the right to adjust the tour time, itinerary, or even cancel the tour for safety reasons.
Outdoor activities still require physical fitness and carry risks. We recommend that you disclose any medical conditions or pregnancy prior to registration. Please also conduct a self-assessment or consult your primary physician. If a medical condition affects your safety or an accident occurs during your trip, we will assist with medical evacuation. However, any medical, legal, or insurance-related issues are your sole responsibility and are not the responsibility of our company.

No smoking during outdoor activities

[Camping Instructions]

Camping equipment includes tents and sleeping mats. Folding eggshell sleeping mats for outdoor mountaineering will be provided; please bring your own inflatable sleeping mat if desired.

Tents: At Bashua Life Academy, we use Decathlon tents, primarily two-person tents. If you are registering alone, please select a single tent.

Please bring your own sleeping bag, or you can rent one upon booking.

． Bathrooms: Two comfortable bathrooms with 24-hour hot water, allowing you to shower whenever you like.

． Toilets: Both squat and sit-down toilets are available, depending on your preference.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 21 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a $300 handling fee.

Cancellations made 11-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 6-10 days (including the 10th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur an 80% handling fee.

Cancellations made 4-5 days (including the 5th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 90% handling fee.

Cancellations made within 3 days (including the day of the trip) are not eligible for a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

If rescheduling is requested due to personal reasons, advance notice is required. Once the rescheduling is requested, no further cancellations or refunds will be granted for any reason (including wind and waves, epidemics, etc.). The company reserves the right to decide whether to approve the postponement.

If the company approves the postponement, the applicant must pay the remaining food, deposit, and personnel expenses for the previous event. This varies depending on the event. Failure to pay these amounts will be deemed a waiver of the individual's right to postpone, and the cancellation policy above will apply.

Rescheduling will not be accepted within 10 days of the event. Failure to request a rescheduling within the deadline will be deemed a cancellation, and the cancellation policy above will apply.

If participation is terminated due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
