Autumn/Winter Limited Edition｜Jinjiu Mine．A Short Journey Through the Golden Autumn

Mining culture is a vital asset of Ruifang District, New Taipei City—black gold and gold. Jiufen, located in Ruifang District, boasts unique topography and landscapes, featuring cherry blossoms in spring, breezes in summer, silver grasses in autumn, and mists in winter. This place is no longer simply about black gold, but rather a new culture of blue and green gold. Blue gold represents the glimpse of the azure East China Sea, while green gold reflects the diverse local ecosystem. Through experiential activities, we can engage all five senses. We will learn about mining culture, promote local ingredients, and participate in community beautification through energy-saving and carbon-reduction art. We hope to use cultural leadership, local action, and the creation of local value to transform the stereotyped image of Jiufen and foster deeper memories.

[Autumn in the Mines. [Miscanthus Flower Play] In autumn, residents of the mines use the miscanthus flowers they gather to create toys for their children, such as Guandao, small umbrellas, ponies, peacocks, and birds, transforming these toys into works of art.

[Miner's Bento. Plum Juice Flavor] The seasonal colors of the mines evoke memories of the delicious miner's bento—wrapped in cloth and tin—drinking plum soup made with a 50-year-old local secret recipe, while admiring the ancients' early understanding of environmental protection and culinary aesthetics.
