Tour Overview

Visit the Yangdong Village in Gyeongju and experience the lives of the nobles and common people during the Silla era

Combining retro and cultural atmosphere, Huanglituan Road has transformed into a photo-taking spot.

Departing from Seoul, we'll visit Gyeongju, located in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. This area was once home to the "Gumseong," the capital of the Silla Dynasty. We'll visit Yangdong Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and experience a stay in a traditional Korean village. Gyeongju boasts the highest number of historical sites in South Korea, brimming with historical and cultural charm and a relaxed atmosphere. For those who enjoy exploring ancient Korean history, Gyeongju is a must-see destination.

-Attraction Introduction-

▲ Gyeongju Yangdong Village
Gyeongju Yangdong Village, once home to the Wolseong Sun Clan and the Yeogang Yi Clan during the Joseon Dynasty, is now a designated National Folk Cultural Property. Numerous national treasures, valuable artifacts, and folklore materials are preserved within the village. Through the Joseon-era houses of Yangdong Village, visitors can glimpse into the lives of noble families and ordinary people 200 years ago.

▲ Gyeongju Historic Area
The Gyeongju Historic Area preserves the culture and relics of the Silla period. Among them, Gyeongju Namsan, known as an outdoor museum, features 37 Buddhist sites built during the Silla era, including the Baoseokjeong Pavilion and the three-story stone pagoda at the site of Cheonyongsa Temple.

▲ Gyeongju Gyochon
Gyeongju Gyochon is a traditional Korean village built by the city of Gyeongju. It offers visitors a glimpse into the past lives of the Choi family and provides an educational and experiential experience.

▲ Hwangnidan-gil
Gyeongju Hwangnidan-gil preserves old buildings from the 1960s and 1970s. These traditional Korean houses have been converted into restaurants, cafes, and small shops. It exudes a retro, hipster atmosphere popular with young people and is a must-see photo-taking spot in Gyeongju.

Oksan Confucian Academy

Oksan Confucian Academy, located in the beautiful village of Sesim, was one of the 47 Confucian academies that Heungseon Daewongun, despite abolishing them during the Joseon Dynasty, valiantly saved. The Confucian academies retain their ancient charm and offer an elegant and tranquil atmosphere.
