Expert tutorial! Show you how to cut milkfish boneless in one go

Each person will receive a pack of delicious milkfish

"Black Pipe Certified Eco-Tour" Friendly Habitat x Local Products

Milkfish are famous for their bone-heavy nature! But why are the fish we eat boneless? It's because the fish have been expertly cut into boneless parts by the chef, ensuring you can enjoy the whole milkfish.

A new edition of "What's This Fish?" will be released in 2024, featuring hands-on instruction from professional fishermen on how to bonelessly cut milkfish. It's a truly unique experience!

Unlike typical fish ponds, where fish are harvested whole, clam pond fishermen use wide-mesh nets to trap small milkfish. This allows small fish to slip through the gaps, while larger ones get stuck in the nets. Fishermen then manually remove the fish one by one. Using pure seawater and low-density aquaculture, the industry and the ecosystem coexist.

About the Tainan Qigu Fish Education Tour

This half-day immersive fish education experience offers a series of excursions with local fishermen. It begins with a small lecture, interactive games, and videos to learn about species, followed by a hands-on visit to a fish farm to learn about farming methods. Finally, activities include shrimp and clam farming, processing, and milkfish filleting.
