Funba's accommodations in Yilan are at the newly opened "Kaidu Plaza Hotel," a land cruise ship located near Yilan's Wushi Harbor, which opened in March 2023. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, this hotel satisfies travelers' endless quest for the ocean. Combined with the hotel's extensive amenities, you can enjoy an exquisite and comfortable stay with two meals a day!

Located in Yilan's Wushi Harbor, within walking distance of Waiao Beach, Kaidu Plaza Hotel is a brand new resort hotel that opened in 2023. The hotel boasts stunning ocean views and resembles a cruise ship nestled in the harbor. Leisure facilities include an outdoor pool, hot spring club, baths, a gym, and a 400-ping (approximately 1,000 square feet) Kids Club, a fun and intimate playroom for families.

The hotel's hot spring club features three hot springs, one cold spring, and a sauna for relaxation. Both men and women can enjoy the beautiful ocean views while soaking in the alkaline sodium bicarbonate springs, often called "Beauty Baths." The 400-ping Kids Club features arcade games, an indoor maze, mini golf, and even shuffleboard and Nintendo Switch, both rare in Taiwan. Adults and children can enjoy the fun together. The hotel also uses seawater to fill its swimming pools and features a seawater pool and water beds, allowing guests to experience the real ocean without having to step foot in it.

The hotel's ocean-view rooms incorporate numerous marine elements, from carpets, bedside tables, walls, sofas, and gradient curtains. The varying shades of blue echo the azure sky. Opening the curtains reveals the breathtaking Milky Sea of Guishan Island, a truly refreshing sight. In addition, each bathroom features a Panasonic Wellness SPA bathtub, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing shower and hydrotherapy experience while seated.

Breakfast and dinner are served at the "Pelago Kitchen" restaurant. Pelago, themed around a treasure chest, offers a diverse menu featuring a re-creation of traditional Aomori morning market homemade seafood rice bowls (nodokedon), authentic Hong Kong-style roast goose, authentic Southeast Asian specialties, and local Yilan delicacies.

Travel Notes

※ This is a package exclusively for Novartis employees. Applications from non-Novartis employees will not be accepted. Please understand.

1. Available dates and campervan quotas:

a. First group: September 15th (Sunday) - September 16th (Monday)

b. Second group: November 10th (Sunday) - November 11th (Monday)

2. Additional charges are as follows:

⚫ Children under 6 years old, sharing a bed, are free of charge.

⚫ Children aged 6-11, sharing a bed, are charged an additional NT$2,000 per person per night, including breakfast, dinner, guest room amenities, and use of on-site facilities.

3. To ensure a comfortable vacation experience, extra beds are not available in Ocean View rooms.

4. Children 12 years or older or adults requiring an extra bed must be accommodated in a two-bedroom Ocean View room (limited to one extra bed per room). An additional charge of NT$3,300 per person per night is applicable, including a single mattress, breakfast and dinner for one person, room amenities, and hotel facilities.
5. Check-in is after 3:00 PM, and check-out is before 11:00 PM on the day of departure.
6. Hotel facility hours are subject to on-site announcements. Please adhere to the hotel's facility regulations for safety.
7. If you have any vegetarian or other dietary restrictions, please indicate this in the remarks section when placing your reservation.
8. The program and content of the event may be subject to minor adjustments based on weather and event conditions. The organizer reserves the right to make adjustments.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

1. Accommodation: One night at the Kaidu Plaza Hotel
2. Meals: Dinner and breakfast the following day at Pelago Kitchen, and in-room refreshments (depending on the number of guests in the room)
3. Complimentary use of hotel amenities: 1F thepools outdoor pool, 1F kidsclub, 1F bluebar, evening theater, 3F thermal club (public baths, fitness center, yoga studio, etc.)
4. Insurance: NT$5 million travel liability insurance + NT$200,000 medical insurance (payable on an actual basis)
5. Local souvenirs (one per room)
6. Administrative service fee

The cost does not include:

Any expenses not specified in this activity, any self-funded expenses or any expenses incurred in connection with the itinerary.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
