▲ Fruit Picking at Yamanashi Farm

Yamanashi Prefecture, home to Mount Fuji, is known as "Japan's premier fruit kingdom." Experience the joy of picking fruit at the Fruit Kingdom. Enjoy freshly picked fruit for the ultimate in flavor!
(Cherries in June, peaches in July, grapes from August to November, strawberries from December to May, depending on the season)

▲ Sengen Shrine Kitaguchi Main Shrine
This shrine has a history dating back 1900 years. Upon returning from his expedition to the East, Yamato Takeru visited this shrine to pay homage to the deities of Mount Fuji. The custom of worshipping the deity of Mount Fuji from the north became established, and shrines were built to honor deities such as Konohanasakuyahime, the goddess of Mount Fuji, Hikobi Nyounyouchi, and Ōyama-no-Gin. From ancient times, this shrine has been a focal point for worship of Mount Fuji. During the Edo period, Fujiko became popular, attracting a constant stream of visitors, starting from the North Exit (Yoshida Exit) of Mount Fuji. In the early 17th century, donations from Fujiko were used to further renovate and expand the shrine grounds, making it a center of Mount Fuji worship.

The main shrine, East Shrine, and West Shrine are designated as important cultural properties of Japan.

▲Kawaguchiko Craft Park

Kawaguchiko Craft Park not only sells Yamanashi Prefecture's specialties, but also offers a variety of DIY crafting opportunities, including silver jewelry, glassware, and painting. It's perfect for the whole family to enjoy a unique crafting experience together! Come and create your own unique souvenir!

▲Narusawa Ice Cave and Fugaku Wind Cave

The Narusawa Ice Cave is located at the eastern entrance to the Aokigahara Sea of Juki. It attracts tourists year-round and is a popular spot in the Fuji Five Lakes. 1,150 years ago, during the eruption of Mount Nagao, a lateral volcano of Mount Fuji, in 864, hot lava flowed down the old parasitic volcano (Aokigahara Maruo), forming these two tunnel-shaped caves.

Fugaku Wind Cave maintains a year-round low temperature, formerly used by farmers as a storage area for cicada pupae. As its name suggests, Narusawa Ice Cave is even colder than Fugaku Wind Cave, remaining below 0°C year-round. This ice was harvested during the hot summer months and then transported by horseback to the feudal lords.

Designated a Natural Monument by the Ministry of Education in 1929, it has become known worldwide and is considered a geologically valuable site.

Furthermore, the number of lava steam fumaroles in the tree-shaped lava group in Narusawa Village is one of the highest in the world.
