Notsuke Peninsula - Betsukai Ice Horizon Mini Walk Experience
Notsuke Peninsula, Japan's largest sand peninsula, stretches 26 kilometers, its narrowest point only about 50 meters wide. This narrow stretch of land, with stunning views of the ocean on both sides, is known as "Northern Amanohashidate."
Notsuke Bay, on the inner side of the peninsula, is seawater, but freezes over during the harsh winter months (January to mid-March).
The vast frozen sea creates a flat, vast white plain.
Furthermore, as a sand spit, Notsuke Peninsula lacks high mountains, giving the sky a particularly vast expanse!
The white plains contrast with the blue sky, creating a world of white and blue.

Travel Notes

※ There is no guarantee of seeing drift ice.

- For the Aurora, if there are no drift ice, a 500 yen refund will be given per person.

- Rooms are either Japanese-style or Western-style. It cannot be specified.

- This plan does not include additional passengers. Please move on your own.

- Please provide your reservation name or present your reservation confirmation email when boarding the bus on the day of your trip.

※ The Betsukai Ice Horizon Mini Walk Experience is located on the sea, and in inclement weather, strong cold winds (like snowstorms) may occur.

Warm clothing is recommended.
- Outerwear | A thick down jacket (layered with a sweater or hooded jacket), and thick, waterproof pants.
- Underwear | A thermal shirt or leggings made of a thermal material, such as a thermal jacket.
- Winter boots and thick socks.
- Beanies, earmuffs, scarves, gloves, a heat pack, etc. (not only for warmth but also to protect electronic devices from overcooling), and items for taking perspective photos.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

Bus fare, accommodation fee (including breakfast and dinner), presentation experience fee, travel planning fee

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 21 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 20-8 days (including the 8th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 7-2 days (including the 2nd day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 40% handling fee.

Cancellations made on the day of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund may be issued after deducting a 10% handling fee. Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule your participation, in which case no payment will be deducted.

Rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If you cancel your participation during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
