Located northeast of Chenggong Township, Taitung County, Sanxiantai is comprised of offshore islands and coral reef coastlines. Three massive rocks are known to have been visited by Lü Dongbin, Li Tieguai, and He Xiangu, hence the name. Sanxiantai Island is a Duluanshan agglomerate. Originally a cape, erosion gradually severed the cape's neck, transforming it into an offshore island.

"Pisirian" is a small coastal village located in Sanxian Community, Chenggong Township. Once a sheep-raising area for the Amis people, the village is filled with Jimmy Liao's paintings, flocks of sheep crafted from driftwood, and the internationally renowned Paw Paw drum band, imbuing this small community with a childlike charm. Now, following the footsteps of the little girl in Jimmy Liao's film "Towards a Spring Afternoon," we'll explore 11 painted sites scattered throughout the Pisirian tribe and further discover the tribe's tranquil and simple beauty.

Named after January 1, 2000, when the world celebrated the 21st century, the Millennium Dawn Concert held on this beach was broadcast simultaneously to 25 countries, catapulting the Taimali waters into the global spotlight. Since then, the area has hosted an annual New Year's Eve music festival, featuring parent-child interactive experiences, resident band performances, indigenous music and dance, flag-raising ceremonies, and other exciting activities.

Taimali Level Crossing
The Sakuragi Level Crossing, located near Taimali Train Station, offers stunning views of the blue sky, azure sea, and the railway crossing. The beautiful and tranquil scene is considered one of the most beautiful level crossing views in eastern Taiwan and is famous for its resemblance to a classic scene from the popular manga "Slam Dunk."
