☆Frost Flower Viewing at Lake Akan (Morning Coffee Tour)… Join your guide to explore the frozen Lake Akan early in the morning. Stroll along the lake while enjoying a cup of coffee. If weather conditions are favorable (approximately 30% chance), you can see ice crystals, called frost flowers, on the lake's surface.

☆Betsukai Ice Horizon…Faceting the Nemuro Strait, Japan's largest sand spit, the inland sea of the Notsuke Peninsula transforms into a vast expanse of snow and ice in winter. Enjoy this unique sight while walking along the sea with your guide. The fun perspective shots are also very popular.

☆Drift Ice Walk…Walk along the drift ice stranded on the Shiretoko Peninsula in a dry suit, ensuring safety even in the event of a fall! This is a unique activity only available during this time of year.

Travel Notes

※Since frost flowers are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee you'll see them.

Meet at TSURUGA ADVENTURE BASE SIRI, 1st floor, Tsuruga Wing, Lake Akan on the day (transfer and pickup available).

※Regarding the drift ice walk, if the walk is not possible due to bad weather or the absence of drift ice, a 6,000 yen refund will be given.

※Requirements for participating in the drift ice walk

・Elementary school student and older, under 74 years old

・Height 130cm - 190cm, weight under 110kg

・Possessing general athletic ability and the ability to ensure safety on your own

・Understands outdoor activities and can participate in a group

※Rooms are available in Japanese-style or Western-style rooms; room types cannot be specified.

※This plan does not include additional passengers. Please move on your own.

※Please provide your reservation name or present your reservation confirmation email when boarding the ride on the day of the walk.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

Bus fare, accommodation fee (2 nights per night + breakfast), experience fee for presentation, travel planning fee

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 21 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 20-8 days (including the 8th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 7-2 days (including the 2nd day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 40% handling fee.

Cancellations made on the day of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund may be issued after deducting a 10% handling fee. Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule your participation, in which case no payment will be deducted.

Rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If you cancel your participation during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
