Old-school Blue Romance Tour - Special arrangements. No reservations are required to enjoy the seafood feast!

Taiwan's only vintage train, the "Blue Jieyou Express," has departed from Hualien! Enjoy a guided tour onboard, allowing you to enjoy breathtaking views of the azure Pacific Ocean and a must-see hidden gem. Stay at the Fangke Hotel, featuring an infinity pool, and gaze out over the stunning ocean views of Fangliao Fishing Harbor. Enjoy a tasting menu prepared by Amis youth, incorporating local ingredients, for an unforgettable sensory feast.

Join us as the train slowly drifts along, windows open, following the tides and enjoying the gentle southerly breeze. The scenery aboard the train transports you back in time, gently connecting your romantic vacation to the South Island.

-Trip Highlights-

▲ Blue Jieyou Express Sightseeing Train

This classic Taiwan Railways "common carriage," which has been operating throughout Taiwan for over 60 years, is the only remaining carriage with windows still opening, and a cherished childhood memory for many. Although once discontinued, it has recently been transformed into a tourist destination, offering stunning views of the Taiwan Strait and the Pacific Ocean, as well as the majestic Central Mountain Range, along the South-Link Railway. In recent years, bloggers have dubbed it the "Blue-Skinned Worry-Relieving Train," making it a popular train model on the Taiwan Railways.

▲ Blue-Skinned Imagery Museum | Old House, New Look
This is currently the latest in a series of restored buildings on Chuyun Road in front of Fangliao Station. The interior is divided into three quadrants based on the rhythm of time: present, past, and future. Each space has its own unique design. For example, the "Past Area" features seating and a dining bar area reminiscent of a blue carriage, creating an indoor seating area with a blue carriage design and accompanying food and beverage service. Travelers can linger and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. A large LED light in the shape of a locomotive is installed on the exterior wall of the outdoor entrance, continuing the image of the Blue-Skinned Worry-Relieving Train. The backyard area also features a cute version of the "Worry-Relieving" platform, creating a new space for travelers to take selfies and relax.

▲ Gourmet Feast | Li Ai Kitchen
Owned by Amis youth Li Ai, this à la carte restaurant is a must-try. The chef's favorite ocean is the Pacific Ocean, his refrigerator. He hopes to carry on the Amis' traditional culture of fish farming and combine it with local ingredients, sharing the culinary feasts gifted by nature with everyone. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are served to the table, ensuring a satisfying and carefree meal for both romantic dates and intimate gatherings.

▲ Taimali Station | Azure Ocean, Blue Sky, and Straight Avenue
Taimali Station on the Southern Line is known as the first station in Taiwan to witness the sunrise, offering a perfect spot to enjoy both the stunning blue ocean and the rising sun. Immediately upon exiting the station, you'll be greeted by the azure Pacific Ocean, the blue sky, and the straight avenue. This breathtaking blend of sea and sky is a truly breathtaking sight.

▲ Lala Cart Valley Tour | A New Way to Enjoy Chishang

Departing from Chishang, where the gentle breeze blows and vast rice paddies stretch out before us, we'll take a lala car from the Hakka Cultural Park to the Muye Resort to experience the animals that feed on us. We'll also sample Taiwan Sugar ice cream at the concession stand. Along the way, we'll pass an ecological fish ladder and a small waterwheel before heading onto Brown Boulevard to admire the Takeshi Kaneshiro tree. Finally, we'll arrive at the Chishang Farmers' Association to admire the seasonal flowers. This short trip will not only distance the mind from the hustle and bustle, but also offer a pure experience of relaxation.

▲ Infinity Pool | Fangke Hotel

Located in the heart of Pingtung, just 200 meters from Fangliao Train Station, soak in the infinity pool and take in the unparalleled ocean views of Fangliao Fishing Harbor, the bustling Fangliao area, and the distant mountains. Enjoy the warmth and comfort of home. Free wired and wireless Internet access keeps you connected, along with digital channels and other entertainment options. Private bathrooms in each room include complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. A telephone, desk and electric kettle are also provided.
