Hidden within the Hualien Rift Valley lies Liyu Lake, home to some of the most stunning mountain and water scenery. The surrounding natural ecosystem is even more vibrant and diverse. Join a local cycling team as you pedal along, enjoying the cool breeze and slowing down your pace. After admiring the natural beauty, visit the Qingyang Butterfly Ecological Farm to learn about the owners' philosophy of symbiotic conservation and conservation, and learn about the fascinating butterfly ecosystem. You can also make your own indigo-dyed scarf, creating a unique souvenir of your trip. A hidden pavilion within the park is perfect for relaxing and taking a deep breath.

▲ Liyu Lake Cycle Path

Liyu Lake was formed by the damming of the Mugua River, its tributary Tongwenlan River, and the Lao River and Baibao River, both within the Mugua River basin. Cycling along the shady cycle path offers breathtaking views of the natural environment.

▲ Shoufeng Township Water Park

Stop here and enjoy a guided tour of Mugua Creek and its tributary, Tongwenlan Creek, as well as Lao Creek and Baibao Creek, which belong to the Mugua Creek basin. The unique geological features and riverbed ecology of these rivers are also on display.

▲ Qingyang Butterfly Farm

Qingyang Farm combines butterfly habitats, ecological conservation, and organic farming. It boasts a rich natural ecosystem. Besides offering environmental education and conservation opportunities, it also offers nighttime ecological tours, making it suitable for families, school groups, and more.

Travel Notes

This tour is open to participants aged 10 and above and under 65 years old in good health. Minors must be accompanied by their parents at all times. Riders are recommended to be at least 135 cm tall. Those with asthma, cardiovascular disease, pregnancy, knee injuries, or physical limitations are advised not to participate.

This tour is subject to change based on factors such as the number of participants, events, or weather conditions, without prior notice.

Passengers agree that any injuries or other bodily harm caused by a fall will be covered by their insurance. Damage or loss to the bicycle will be the responsibility of the user and not the organizer. Please do not participate if you do not agree.

A rain gear package will be provided, including a lightweight raincoat. In the event of heavy rain, the itinerary may be adjusted accordingly. This tour is suitable for first-time cyclists.

Pre-trip precautions and contact information will be announced prior to departure. Please stay tuned for further information.

Please meet on time on the day. No refunds will be given if a participant is separated from the group or cannot meet up due to personal reasons.

Participants are kindly requested to adhere to the planned route and not deviate from it. The organizer assumes no responsibility for any traffic accidents or incidents resulting from deviation from the planned route; participants are solely responsible for such accidents.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
