▲ Sanzhi Repulse Bay – Zhilan Marine Observation Deck

The North Coast's newest destination has arrived! The Zhilan Park Marine Observation Deck at Sanzhi Repulse Bay features a 57-meter aquamarine corridor extending all the way to the sea, allowing visitors to stroll along the azure horizon, feeling as if they were walking to the center of the ocean. Enjoy breathtaking views and a truly romantic stroll, complemented by stunning sunsets!

▲ Fugui Cape Lighthouse & Laomei Labyrinth

Fugui Cape Lighthouse is located at the northernmost tip of Taiwan. Formerly known as Fuji Cape Lighthouse, it was originally an octagonal iron structure. Due to damage during World War II, it was replaced with an octagonal concrete structure in 1962. Fuji Cape Lighthouse boasts a charming black and white exterior and is one of Taiwan's four poles, making it the northernmost lighthouse on the island.

▲Laomei Stone Trough
Also known as the Green Stone Trough Coast, it gets its name from the lush greenery created by the seaweed clinging to the stone troughs. This unique landscape is a rare sight in Taiwan, attracting many photographers and tourists. This beautiful sight typically appears from mid-March to early May, and is particularly stunning during the Qingming Festival in April. The entire coastal trough is covered in seaweed, forming strips of "Green Stone Troughs," painting the entire coastline a vibrant spring hue.
"Shicao" is a geological term. A typical coastline might be sandy, rocky, or even covered in seaweed. However, Laomei Shicao boasts both fine sand and eroded rocky shores, each beautifully sculpted like a row of skinny green dolphins lying on the beach. The Shicao reefs here are volcanic, ideal for the growth of seaweed. When the seaweed dies, its remains harden into a thin layer of limestone, upon which new algae continue to grow, a cycle of life and death that ultimately creates this beautiful reef.

This first seafood restaurant, located in Fuji Fishing Harbor, has been in business for over 31 years. With "Credit" as its motto, and thanks to the support of hundreds of loyal customers, it was awarded the New Taipei City Selected Restaurant this year. In addition to fresh seafood stir-fries, they also offer XO sauce, fish cakes, and agar-agar jelly drinks. Their excellent ingredients are a firm favorite among gourmets.

Wangwang Sweet Potato Garden showcases its brand history. The hall sells a variety of sweet potato products and souvenirs, including thin and thick slices, French fries, sweet potato cakes, bread, toast, and ice cream. The hall also offers a wide selection of meals and drinks, making it a great place for travelers to relax! They also host occasional DIY activities for families.

Jintaifeng Cultural Museum: Renovated from a century-old rice mill, the [Humanistic Café] maintains the original appearance of the old house, slowly transforming this long-abandoned, ruined rice mill into a unique, nostalgic café. (This is a Wei-Jiang historic house; admission is subject to payment.)
Jinshan Red: A series of baked goods are harvested from the locally grown Tainong No. 66 red sweet potatoes, a popular product in Jinshan. Each adorable item is a favorite among influencers and a must-buy souvenir.

▲ Keelung Taiping Bluebird Bookstore

Taiping Elementary School, perched high above Taiping Mountain, closed in 2017 due to a small student population. However, its advantageous location, overlooking the city and harbor, has made it a hub for exploring Keelung's rich spatial structure and history. As one of the few open spaces in this mountain town, the Keelung City Government team is leveraging its unique geographical conditions and spatial dimensions to make it a new tourist attraction on the west coast.

Bookstores are the driving force behind urban values and concepts. In recent years, Keelung's culture-focused urban governance strategy has explored the beauty of Keelung's history and translated it into its urban beauty. The recent opening of the Shawan Cultural Park is one example, and the arrival of Taiping Bluebird is a significant step forward. Bluebird Bookstores, operated by Bluebird Culture, are located in Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Park, the Southern Bluebird at the Sun Li-jen Residence in Pingtung, Daan Forest Park, and Sisi South Village. These bookstores are all uniquely local and serve as windows and platforms to the city's soul. Taiping Bluebird, nestled amidst the stunning mountains and seascapes of Taiping Elementary School, not only provides a window into Keelung's cultural development but also fosters a deeper understanding of art and history, stimulating a diverse and expansive local energy.
