The only two blue grottos in the world are located in Italy and Okinawa at Cape Maeda. Because blue is called "Aoi" in Japanese, the Blue Grotto is also known as the Blue Grotto in Japan. Located at Cape Maeda in Onna Village on Okinawa's main island, the Blue Grotto is half submerged in the sea. For those who want to take lots of photos and videos, renting an underwater camera is highly recommended. Our tour guide and instructor will assist with filming. Our underwater camera can capture over 500 photos at high-quality settings and can record action videos for nearly an hour. Photos and videos can be uploaded directly to your phone after the activity, so you can share them on social media the same day!

╴ Participation requirements: Applicants aged 11 to 59 must be healthy and have no medical conditions, with a BMI of 29.99 or less, and must not be pregnant.
╴ For safety reasons, individuals aged 59 or above, with a BMI of 30 or above, women who may be pregnant, or those with other medical conditions are not permitted to participate in the snorkeling activity.

[Registration Instructions]
To participate in the snorkeling activity, you must fill out the "Snorkeling Registration Form." Each person must complete one form. Parents are requested to help children complete the form (print an A4 sheet so two people can fill in one form. For example, if four people participate, only two forms are needed).

To save time, we recommend printing and completing the form in advance and handing it in to the staff on the day of your visit.

If you have any medical conditions checked under "Health Check" on the "Snorkeling Registration Form," you must inform the venue in advance and provide a doctor's diagnosis.

[Experience Information]
╴ The Okinawa Blue Grotto Family Snorkeling Activity may be canceled or relocated due to typhoons or poor sea conditions. In the event of a relocation, no refund will be given for cancellations. Please understand this before making your reservation.

╴ Chinese-speaking staff will be available to assist with check-in, reception, and equipment instructions. The instructor leading the group may be Japanese or Chinese-speaking, depending on schedule.

Please bring a set of clean clothes, a bath towel, and a swimsuit. If you don't have a swimsuit, please bring a set of clothes that can get wet. You can also wear them under your wetsuit.

If you are prone to seasickness, please bring your own seasickness medication; the tour group cannot provide it.

It is recommended that you put on your swimsuit before the tour.

Please refrain from drinking alcohol on the day of the tour. Please also refrain from excessive drinking the night before.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 8 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-7 days (including the 7th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A 10% handling fee will be deducted from the booking fee before the refund. Alternatively, the participant can choose to reschedule the event, in which case no refund will be made.

Rescheduling requests due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
