Elephant Trunk Rock is located across from the Ruifang Shen'ao Power Plant on the Northern Coastal Highway. Formerly known as Fanzi'ao due to a famous seawall that, when viewed from the side, resembles an Indian head. The seas here are stable, and viewing this unique northern coastal scenery from the surface is even more captivating. A highly professional instructor will lead you on a coastal exploration, allowing you to appreciate the scenery from a unique perspective.

You'll pass through mysterious coves and enjoy snorkeling, observing the rich coral reef ecosystem and swimming with small fish. This is a great way to cool off in the summer heat and create wonderful memories. Nearby are the Badouzi Rail Bike Trail, Chaojing Park, Wangyou Valley, the Marine Science Museum, Zhengbin Fishing Port, and Heping Island, making it a perfect weekend getaway for families or groups of friends on vacation!

Travel Notes

[Booking Instructions]
． This activity is recommended for participants aged 6-65 years in good health. Children aged 6-8 years must be accompanied by an adult and sit between two adults without paddling.
． Sea kayaking requires considerable physical effort, so please carefully assess your ability. Pregnant women, those with knee injuries, or those with limited physical fitness are not recommended for this activity.
． Professional instructors will accompany the group throughout the trip. According to Taiwan's Water Recreation Management Regulations, one instructor is legally allowed to lead a maximum of 20 participants. In principle, one instructor will be assigned 8-11 participants. For groups of 12 or more, two instructors will be assigned, and so on.
[Tour Instructions]
． The tour operates on a group basis. Once the instructor and group members have left the shore, latecomers will not be accommodated and no refunds will be given. Please be especially careful not to be late to avoid compromising your rights.

Water activities are subject to weather conditions. During the actual tour, the tour leader may adjust the itinerary based on changing wind and hydrological conditions. If weather conditions deteriorate, the tour may even be canceled mid-trip. Please do not participate if you cannot accept the possibility of itinerary changes.

To ensure a safe and smooth operation, all groups must arrive and depart in groups and follow the instructions of the instructor and leader. We cannot be held responsible for any accidents resulting from detaching from the group or ignoring instructions.

Photos and videos taken during the tour will be uploaded to our fan page for sharing, downloading, and marketing purposes. Please inform the instructor if you do not wish to share your information publicly.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

- Kayak Experience and Instruction Course
- Full Kayak Equipment: Two people per kayak, paddles, life jackets, river trekking shoes, and a waterproof backpack per kayak (no phone bag).
- Snorkeling Equipment: Mask and snorkel.
- Instructor will accompany the group on the voyage/guard the group and provide a guided tour.
- Souvenir photos taken during the voyage (no aerial photos).
- Simple rinse with clean water and a changing tent.
- Activity Insurance.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 6th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made within 3 days prior to the start of the trip will not be refunded.

Cancellations made on the day of the trip will not be refunded.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be made to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

If the Central Weather Bureau issues a high wave forecast, the event will be canceled within 24 hours and a full refund will be issued.

If the weather forecast is favorable but the water conditions on site are clearly unsuitable for diving, the activity will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued, less insurance and administrative fees.

If sea conditions deteriorate midway during the voyage and the voyage is changed or terminated for safety reasons, no refund will be given.

If you wish to change your activity schedule for personal reasons, you must notify us in advance. You may reschedule once. After this rescheduling, no further cancellations or refunds will be granted.

Rescheduling within 3 days of the activity will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If you cancel your participation during the activity due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.

Getting There

Driving is recommended. If you're traveling by public transportation, take bus 103 from the Keelung City Bus Terminal (approximately every 40 minutes) to the Badouzi stop (approximately 30 minutes), then walk about 15 minutes to Zhaoming Temple.
