╴ This tour will be facilitated by Japanese-speaking staff and translation software.
╴ This tour runs from February 1, 2026, to March 8, 2026, departing daily. Each tour consists of one person.
╴ This tour is subject to change based on weather conditions and may end early due to drift ice.
╴ Child fares are available for children aged 3 to 11. Infants (aged 0 to 2) receive a round-trip bus seat. Infants cannot be carried on the lap.
╴ If you are participating in this tour while in Hokkaido or Sapporo, please avoid joining on the last day of your trip. (Bus delays are not compensated.)
╴ Bus arrivals may be delayed due to road conditions. Please note that we cannot guarantee service terminations. In addition, stops at docking facilities may be shortened or canceled due to weather or congestion. The itinerary of stops may vary depending on the number of vehicles.

■Regarding drift ice conditions and Garinko cancellations: Exchanges and refunds■
Please note that drift ice viewing may not be possible depending on weather and docking conditions.

1) If the drift ice icebreaker boat is canceled due to weather,

a refund of 5,000 yen will be given for adults and 4,000 yen for children. Alternatively, the tour will stop at the Okhotsk Drift Ice Science Center "Giza."

2) If Monbetsu cannot be reached due to road conditions,

a refund of 5,000 yen will be given for adults and 4,000 yen for children. Alternatively, the tour will stop at the Sounkyo Icefall Festival. (Includes Sounkyo Icefall Festival tickets.)

╴ The actual number of vehicles used on the day will be adjusted based on the number of people on the tour.

★Important Information for Participants Living Outside of Japan★
When boarding the Garinko Icebreaker Ship, you will be asked to submit a boarding list (including your passport number) and will be asked to enter your passport number. We will ask for your passport number on the day of your reservation. Please note that if you do not know your passport number, you will not be able to board the Garinko Icebreaker Ship.

╴ This tour does not accept individual registrations for participants under the age of 18 or over the age of 70. If you wish to register, please be accompanied by a guardian or accompanying person.
╴ Elderly participants, those with cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension or heart disease, and pregnant women are advised to be accompanied by a relative.
╴ Please ensure that all participant information is complete when making reservations to avoid errors that could affect your trip.
╴ Please carry your passport and valuables with you and keep them safely during the tour. You will be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage.

[Activity Information]

The Hokkaido Monbetsu Drift Icebreaker Cruise takes approximately 60 minutes and may be adjusted based on ice conditions.

If there is no drift ice on the Hokkaido Monbetsu Drift Icebreaker Cruise, please continue enjoying the beautiful seascape.

Drift ice is a natural phenomenon and may not be visible.

The local temperature ranges from 0°C to -15°C, so please wear warm clothing.

Due to road conditions, the return trip to Sapporo may be delayed.

Due to road conditions, the itinerary may be adjusted.
Due to inclement weather or highway closures, the tour may be unavoidably canceled on the day.

The Hokkaido Monbetsu Drift Ice Icebreaker Cruise departs with Japanese guests.

The company is not responsible for any delays, itinerary changes, or cancellations due to force majeure factors such as traffic and weather.

The zoo's penguin parade may be canceled or reduced in frequency due to weather.

If the Garinko cruise is canceled and you are unable to board the cruise, a partial refund will be given and you will be redirected to the Okhotsk Drift Ice Science Center GIZA.

If you are unable to reach Monbetsu due to road closures or other reasons, a partial refund will be given and you will be redirected to the Sounkyo Icefall Festival (entrance fee included).
If you are unable to board the icebreaker cruise due to any reason, a refund of 5,000 yen for adults and 4,000 yen for children will be given.

If you voluntarily forgo the icebreaker cruise, no refund will be given.
╴ The meeting and disbanding locations for the Hokkaido Monbetsu Drift Ice Icebreaker Cruise may vary. Please confirm with the tour leader on the day.
╴ The Hokkaido Monbetsu Drift Ice Icebreaker Cruise does not include a sightseeing tour. Please note that this tour does not include admission to the Okhotsk Seal Center (Okhotsk Tokkari Center).
╴ To avoid inconvenience to other passengers and to protect their privacy, live streaming via social media (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) is prohibited during the Monbetsu Drift Ice Icebreaker Cruise.
- This tour does not include meals. Lunch is provided at the Asahiyama Zoo. Dinner can be purchased at the Ocean Education Center food court or at a rest stop on the return trip, or prepared in advance. Eating is not recommended on board, or should be kept quiet and conversation is avoided. Alcohol is prohibited. Please note this.
