Fenglin, certified by Cittaslow International in 2014, boasts authentic Hakka culture. Its slow pace and pleasant climate are a welcome stop for travelers to experience the everyday life of a slow city.

In Fenglin, you'll often see snail-shaped landscapes, symbolizing the slow pace of life at Cittaslow International, and the inscription "Sunny Farm, Rainy Study," which represents the Hakka people's diligence and love of learning. Guides from the Taipei Linlin Association, the organizers of the Fenglin Waseda and One Hundred Demons Night Parade cycling tours, will take you on a cycling tour of the Principal's Dream Factory, a town with the highest density of elementary school principals in Taiwan. Visitors will also discover the Jingzi Pavilion, a guided tour of the Fenglin Cigarette Tower, the Lintian Siphon Canal, and the beautiful peanuts designed to reflect the aesthetics of returning travelers. Travel Notes

- This tour is open to participants aged 10 and above and under 65 years old in good health. Minors must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Riders are recommended to be at least 140 cm tall. Those with asthma, cardiovascular disease, pregnancy, knee injuries, or reduced physical fitness are advised not to participate.

- A light raincoat will be provided as part of the rain plan. The itinerary may be adjusted in the event of heavy rain. This tour is suitable for first-time cyclists.

- Passengers agree that any medical expenses resulting from a fall or other bodily injury will be covered by their insurance. Damage or loss to the bicycle will be the responsibility of the user and not the organizer. Please do not participate if you do not agree.

- Pre-trip precautions and contact information will be communicated prior to departure. Please check this message.

- The itinerary may be adjusted based on factors such as the number of participants, events, or weather conditions. The tour will not be announced separately.

- Please meet on time on the day. No refunds will be given if a passenger is separated from the group or cannot meet up due to personal reasons.
- Participants are kindly requested to adhere to the planned route and refrain from deviating from it. The organizer assumes no responsibility for any traffic accidents or incidents resulting from deviation from the planned route, and participants are solely responsible for the consequences.
- If the tour is unable to form due to insufficient numbers or cancellation due to force majeure, we will notify you prior to the tour and reschedule or refund you after deducting any necessary expenses.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
