Tour Overview

Breathe in the forest while cycling! Relax your body and mind at Da Nong Da Fu Forest Therapy

Learn about the Amis Taibalang tribe's stories on a cycling tour and savor a red glutinous rice meal

A leisurely and intellectual e-bike tour with a full guide

Hualien is the homeland of the Amis people. Visit the Taibalang Tribe to hear stories of the past and savor red glutinous rice, a gift of the fertile land. Then, take an e-bike through the maple trees of the Danong Dafu Plains Forest. Feel the sunshine and the gentle breeze, take a deep breath, and relax your body and mind on this forest therapy cycling trip!

▲ Taibalang Tribe

Taibalang is an Amis tribe. The fertile alluvial soil of the Coastal Mountains, with its high viscosity and rich trace elements, is ideal for growing red glutinous rice, making Taibalang the only place in Taiwan to produce red glutinous rice.

▲ Mafo Pottery Kiln

Originally a brick kiln from the 1960s and 1970s, the Mafo community now builds bat houses for ecological sustainability, grows bat-friendly rice, and utilizes the fertile soil of the Coastal Mountains to harvest, process, and refine the clay, creating pottery pieces with a natural, earthy texture.

▲ Danong Dafu Flatland Forest Park
Located between the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range, it features nearly 20 common low-altitude tree species, creating a natural flatland ecosystem. Ride beneath the shady maple trees and learn about the natural ecology.
