- About Accommodation |
# Accommodation Type: Available at different hotels
# Room Type: The standard price on this website is based on a room for four people

▲Hualien County Archaeological Museum

Combining Hualien's local environment with artifacts from past archaeological excavations, the museum recreates the spiritual and material life of prehistoric humans. Exhibits include artifacts from archaeological sites, including prehistoric cuisine, jade and stone artifacts, tombs, and megalithic culture, bringing the rich history of Hualien to life.

▲ Liyu Lake Bike Path

Liyu Lake was formed by the blockage of the Mugua River, its tributary Tongwenlan River, and the Lao River and Baibao River within the Mugua River basin. Ride along the tree-lined bike path and admire the natural scenery along the way.

▲ Huilan Bay

Located where the Hualien River meets the Pacific Ocean, the collision of the river and the waves creates a "whirlpool-like" flow. The majestic and beautiful scene is the origin of Hualien's old name, "Huilan."

▲ Lingang Line Bike Path

Constructed in 1931 as part of the Hualien Port construction project to transport construction materials, the Lingang Line railway has been converted into a bicycle path. The path is smooth, and you can enjoy the sea breeze and the beautiful views of Huilan Bay along the way.

▲ Dongchang Fixed Fishery Community Revitalization

Renovated from former fishermen's dormitories at the Fixed Fishery, this new community offers visitors the freshest, best tasting, and most exciting local experiences, combined with educational programs on the Fixed Fishery's eco-friendly fishing methods.

▲ Qingshui Cliff

During the Age of Discovery, Portuguese sailors traversed the Pacific Ocean, gazing at the Qingshui Cliff from the sea and marveling at the beauty of the island of Formosa. Gazing from the cliff face, one feels as if reading the azure Pacific and the poetry of the Age of Discovery from above.

▲ Taroko Gorge

Cut by the Liwu River, the Taroko Gorge, carved from dense, resistant marble, gradually formed a steep, vertical gorge, creating a world-class canyon landscape.

▲ Buluowan Terrace

Buluowan Terrace is a large, double-layered terrace on the lower reaches of the Liwu River. It was once home to the Taroko people, and its name means "a place for tracking prey" in the Taroko language. Through watching the documentary "Happy Taroko" and visiting the Buluowan Museum of History, we gained a deeper understanding of the Taroko people's life and culture.

▲ Swallow's Mouth Trail
Swallow's Mouth is a canyon formed by the erosion of the Liwu River. Enjoy the natural landscape and ecological features of the cliffs while cycling slowly and leisurely.
