Kenting's ecosystem, from the ocean to the high coral forests, nurtures a variety of rare and remarkable flora and fauna. Coupled with 400 years of cultural integration and the successful community development efforts of the Golden Decade, the Hengchun Peninsula's recreational offerings, from the mountains to the ocean, from natural ecology to cultural history, are imbued with a cape-like charm that beckons repeat visits.

#Kenting Tree Climbing
Tree climbing originated from the needs of forestry and logging work. Beyond its current applications, it has also evolved into a leisure activity, connecting us to nature and providing educational opportunities. Tree climbing teaches us to understand trees and, in turn, to care for and value our trees, land, and nature.

#Sheding Park
Sheding was originally a marine garden of stony corals, calcareous algae, foraminifera, and shells. Due to tectonic plate movements 500,000 years ago, it became a unique forest ecosystem—a high coral reef forest—combining a rich ecosystem, monsoon rainforest, and limestone terrain. Guided by professional local instructors, the Sheding Ecological Observation Tour is incredibly fun and engaging, allowing you to observe endangered species up close and experience Kenting's preciousness from a perspective you've never experienced before.

#HouwanCommunity

In the past, residents of the Houwan area used the natural coral reef formations on the west coast to harvest sea salt. The brine they retrieved was used to make black tofu. However, with the increasing availability of refined salt, this traditional salt-making technique nearly disappeared. Fortunately, thanks to the efforts of local residents in recent years, this unique salt-making technique has been revived, not only preserving the culture but also developing it into a local attraction.

#TaiwanDiving
TaiwanDiving uses 20% of its net profits to support beach cleanups, diving, and marine education seminars, promoting greater awareness of the ocean. They also became the first B Corp-registered diving education center in Asia. Taiwan Diving hopes to bring more positive influence, let more people fall in love with the ocean, and further protect the ocean. By continuously conveying the concept and actions of marine conservation, every partner of Taiwan Diving will practice environmentally friendly actions during the process of participation.

Travel Notes

- The above two-day itinerary is quite tight and will be adjusted flexibly by the tour leader based on on-site circumstances.
- Fun Bar reserves the right to make adjustments based on the circumstances of the day to facilitate the overall itinerary.
- By registering for this tour, you agree to participate in all activities listed in the itinerary. Refunds are non-exclusive, except for force majeure.
- Bookings are not guaranteed. If the group size is not met, Fun Bar staff will notify you to reschedule or cancel your booking.
- Once the tour is confirmed, cancellations will not be accepted unless you are unable to participate due to Yang Ming Marine Transport business. This will be considered participation. Please consider this before registering.
- Please enter your department code (4-digit English) in the remarks field. If you are stationed overseas, please indicate your country of assignment.

Snorkeling Notes:
- The recommended age for the Kenting Hengchun snorkeling experience is 6 years of age and above, and you must be in good health. Minors must be accompanied by their parents at all times. Please do not register if you have the following symptoms: a cold, high blood pressure, diabetes, epilepsy, heart disease, or are pregnant. Pregnant women are also not recommended.
- The Kenting Hengchun snorkeling experience is quite physically demanding. We recommend going to bed early the night before and avoiding staying up late, drinking alcohol, or overeating.
- This Kenting Hengchun snorkeling experience is insured. Please follow the instructor's instructions during the experience. Failure to comply with the instructor's instructions or disobeying instructions may result in the instructor's right to immediately terminate the activity without refund.
- Showers are provided with hot water, body wash, and shampoo.
- This tour includes underwater photography, which can be accessed via USB, email, or Airdrop.
- We hope for good weather at all times, but if sea conditions or weather are unsuitable for diving, we will notify you before the activity.
- The length of this tour may be adjusted based on the underwater and sea conditions.
- Please bring a swimsuit or trunks, a towel, and simple personal toiletries.
- No sunscreen or makeup is allowed in the water; every citizen of Earth has a responsibility to be kind to the ocean.
- The instructors are all licensed professionals.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

1. Transportation - 2 days on a legal bus licensed within the past 5 years (includes tolls, tips, parking fees, mineral water, driver's meals and lodging, overtime fees, and other miscellaneous expenses).
2. Tour Experience - Kenting entrance fees and related activities listed in the itinerary, tree climbing instructor and equipment, Kenting sea salt experience, snorkeling: mask, snorkel, life jacket, fins, and a 1:4 instructor-student ratio. Daytime ecological tour and sea salt making experience.
3. Accommodation - One night at Kenting Yiwan or similar accommodation.
4. Meals - Includes lunch and dinner on the first day; breakfast and lunch on the second day.
5. Tour Leader Service Fee - Includes tour leader service fee, meals, and accommodation.
6. Insurance - NT$5 million travel liability insurance + NT$200,000 medical insurance (NT$2 million accident insurance for those aged 65 and above and under 15 years old).
7. Administration Fee - Includes travel agency planning services, reservations, etc.
8. Round-trip high-speed rail tickets from Taipei to Kaohsiung are not included. Self-driving tours are not recommended.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
