Lush green hills stretch out endlessly. That's right! This is Taiwan's Matcha Mountain, the "Our Lady Villa Hiking Trail," located above the Wufengqi Waterfall in Yilan. Listen through headphones as a professional guide explains the trail's starting point: the Chinese-style domed Catholic Church, a pilgrimage site for Our Lady, and a beautiful bamboo forest. Finally, you'll climb a steep 2-kilometer staircase to a viewing platform, offering the best vantage point for admiring Matcha Mountain. The lush green of the mountain is the bamboo forest, swaying in the wind, a breathtaking beauty that will leave you lingering.

Matcha Mountain, originally named Sanjiaolun Mountain, is the second peak over 1,000 meters from the northeast corner of the Xueshan Mountain Range. It is one of the Five Sacred Mountains of Lanyang and one of Taiwan's Lesser Hundred Mountains. It earned the endearing name "Matcha Mountain" after Japanese photographer Kengo Kobayashi posted a photo on Instagram after reaching the summit, captioning it "Taiwan's Matcha Ice Cream Mountain," sparking a heated discussion on social media.

Above the Wufengqi Waterfall Scenic Area in Jiaoxi lies a suburban trail leading to Sanjiaolun Mountain, one of the Five Sacred Mountains of Lanyang. This is a popular Catholic pilgrimage route. Legend has it that five climbers, after reaching the summit, lost their way on the descent and saw an apparition of the Virgin Mary, guiding them safely down the mountain. To commemorate this miracle, the Our Lady Villa Pilgrimage Site was built. The trail passes through secondary forests and artificial reforestation, rich in birdlife and insect life. The one-way trail is approximately 5.6 kilometers long.

- Age limit for mountaineering: 14 years and older but under 70 years old. Minors must be accompanied by their parents at all times.
- Guide arrangements for this mountaineering tour are subject to change based on group availability, weather conditions, and other factors.
- This mountaineering tour is located in a natural environment. Littering, fruit peels, and kitchen waste are strictly prohibited. Please respect the beautiful mountains and forests by placing your own trash in a garbage bag and taking it down the mountain.
- Please arrive on time for this tour. Late arrivals will be deemed as forfeiture and no refund will be given.
- Please be safe during the tour and follow the instructions of the tour leader or guide. Unauthorized risky actions or leaving the tour group are strictly prohibited. Due to the inherent risks and unpredictability of outdoor activities, participants are fully responsible for their own actions and consequences, and are responsible for their own personal belongings (including personal belongings). Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
