Meet at Taipei Main Station East Gate 3 at 7:00 AM. Board a special bus departing promptly at 7:30 AM.

10:30 AM [Shalu District Guanyin Pavilion] Wait for the Dajia Mazu sedan chair to pay respects to the Dajia Mazu and accompany the procession (approximately 2 km walk). Lunch at your own expense in Shalu City. Due to road conditions, we will not visit Qingshui Chaoxing Temple.

2:00 PM [Shalu Yisheng Temple] Depart by bus.

2:30 PM [Dajia Zhenlan Temple].

3:30 PM [Yawen Herb Plant Factory].

Expected arrival in Taipei at 7:00 PM.

Meet at Taipei Main Station East Gate 3 at 7:00 AM. Board a special bus departing promptly at 7:30 AM.

11:00 AM [Taichung Qingshui Ciyun Temple] Pay respects and pray. 12:00 PM Follow the Dajia Mazu sedan chair. (Lunch in Dajia city, at your own expense.)

2:30 PM Depart from the Dajia Jenn Lan Temple (Dajia Mazu return).

3:30 PM Visit the Yawen Herb Plant Factory.

Estimated arrival in Taipei at 7:00 PM.

Travel Notes
– Even if you register for an odd number of people, you must still select a group of two to purchase at the original price.
– This offer cannot be combined with other discounts. Children over two years old are charged the same price as adults. Children under two years old who do not occupy a seat will be charged a separate price.
– This offer is only available to travelers who participate in the "full tour."
– The meeting and disembarkation locations will be aligned with the Mazu pilgrimage route. Please be mindful of the crowds.
– You will be dropped off at Point A and boarded at Point B. Please stay in touch with your tour leader and download the Dajia Mazu location app.
– Food During the pilgrimage
A variety of food will be provided by devotees along the way. It is recommended that you bring your own hygienic bowls, chopsticks, and water bottles to protect the environment.

▲ What to wear during the Mazu pilgrimage?
✔ Hats: We recommend a conical hat or a baseball cap. Any hat that provides sun protection is acceptable!
✔ Masks - to block firecracker ash and prevent infection
✔ Light clothing, thick socks, and sensible athletic shoes are essential.
✔ Towels - for wiping sweat or wiping your body
✔ Earplugs - to protect your ears and block out the sound of firecrackers
✔ Light raincoats - for rainy days or to keep warm

▲What are the taboos associated with the Mazu Pilgrimage?
✔ You must be vegetarian for three days before departure, and only eat meat after the birthday celebration.
✔ Purification is required: During the pilgrimage, alcohol, gambling, and sexual relations are prohibited.
✔ Refrain from speaking rudely; please politely say "thank you, please, and excuse me."
✔ First-time participants must wear new clothes as a sign of respect.
✔ Those climbing under the sedan chair are not allowed to wear amulets.
✔ Those mourning or women in confinement after childbirth are not permitted to participate.

Limited edition Dajia Mazu ceremonial hat (all styles and vintages available) (valued at NT$200 per hat)

Dajia Mazu multifunctional square scarf (NT$150 per scarf) (while supplies last)
– One 2021 Mazu Safety Passport (all styles available) (valued at NT$100 per passport)
– One bottle of mineral water per person


The cost does not include:

- Guide tips totaling NT$100 per person per day
- Meals
- Any expenses not specified in this itinerary, personal expenses, or any other expenses incurred during the itinerary


Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

 

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

 

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
