– About the Attraction –

▲Lake Mashu
Located in Teshikaga Town, Kawakami District, eastern Hokkaido, Japan, this volcanic lake is renowned for its crystal-clear water. Currently part of Akan Mashu National Park, it was designated a Hokkaido Heritage Site in 2001. The lake's renowned "Mashu Blue" reflects a unique blue hue on clear days, thanks to its high water clarity. Lake Mashu is also renowned for its mist, which adds to its mystical atmosphere.

▲Bihoro Pass
Located within Akan Mashu National Park, it offers a panoramic view of Lake Kussharo and is a popular destination in Eastern Hokkaido. Its stunning scenery has inspired numerous film and television soundtracks, including the song "Bihoro Pass" by Hibari Misora; the film "If You Are the One" was also filmed here.

▲Drift Ice Walk
Drift Ice Walk allows visitors to experience the drifting ice firsthand and get up close and personal. Every year during the drift ice season, over 10,000 people visit. Following the guide's instructions, you can walk on the ice, ride on it, and even fall into the sea without worrying about floating back up. You'll also have a chance to see the "drift ice angels" living beneath the ice.

Travel Notes

– This bus tour is organized by Akan Bus Company of Japan. The bus guide speaks only Japanese. A Chinese translator will be available to provide additional translations during the tour.
– This is an online tour. Please prepare a computer or mobile device that can use Zoom.
– Please install the free Zoom app on your phone or computer before the tour begins. The download link for Zoom is: https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting.
– A meeting link will be sent to you the day before the tour. Please join the meeting 5 minutes before the start of the tour.
– When entering the meeting, please turn your device's camera on and microphone off. Turn your microphone back on during the interactive portion of the tour.
– Due to communication issues, please note that there may be temporary video distortion.
– Please refrain from taking screenshots or misusing any audio or video during the tour.
– If the window pops up due to poor network signal, please re-enter the original meeting link to re-enter.
– This trip will include souvenirs. Delivery options include home delivery, store-to-store delivery from FamilyMart, and store-to-store delivery from 7-Eleven. If you choose convenience store delivery, please enter the store address and name in the mailing address field.
– If you book at least 5 days before your trip departure, your souvenir will be delivered before your trip.
– If you book at least 4 days before your trip departure, your souvenir may not be delivered until after your trip departure.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellation Policy for Local Day Tours in Japan

Cancellations made 12 days or more before the selected itinerary date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 8 and 11 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 1 and 2 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 0 and 10 days before the start of the itinerary will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
