From December to April each year, red quinoa ripens and changes color, making it a must-see destination in Taitung County every spring. However, most of Taitung's red quinoa fields are owned by tribes or private individuals, making them difficult to access. Therefore, we've collaborated with local rural partners to plan an in-depth tour. Guided tours will lead visitors through the vibrant red quinoa fields, offering opportunities for viewing and photographing, as well as sharing meals, conversations, and experiences with the tribesmen, allowing them to immerse themselves in their daily lives.

Watching the red quinoa fields transform from green and yellow to red resemble a vibrant carpet, a breathtaking sight. However, due to varying climates, the ripening period of red quinoa varies slightly. By selecting two exclusive quinoa viewing spots in Taitung and aligning with the optimal viewing time, we ensure visitors not only easily fulfill their quinoa-viewing dreams but also visit different tribes and experience the beauty of their culture. Driving along the South-Link Highway, one of "Taiwan's Most Scenic Highways," we arrived at Tuban Village in Daren Township. Surrounded by mountains, Tuban preserves many traditional Paiwan ornaments, sculptures, and architecture. Here, you'll not only see beautiful quinoa fields but also discover the history and traditions of the Paiwan people. Join tribal experts and elders from the South-Link Health Promotion and Care Association for a farming experience, learning about the Paiwan's mountain knowledge and the breathtaking scenery of southern Taiwan, allowing us to heal our souls.

The Jialan Tribe in Jinfeng Township is a secluded paradise nestled at the eastern foot of Dawu Mountain, overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean and the majestic Central Mountain Range. Surrounded by mountains and interwoven with the Taimali, Jinlun, and Zhiben River valleys, the village nurtures the unyielding vitality of the wilderness and showcases the rich and rugged beauty of its people. The tribe features a Gloriosa jasminoides demonstration area, where you can admire vast fields of quinoa. Besides taking unique photos amidst the fields, you can also follow "lifestyle designers" Zhenzhen, Zhiming, and Xiuchun to hear tribal legends, experience millet culture, swing on a swing, and create healing moss balls, bringing back blessings from the tribe!
