Tour Overview

Climb to the top of Malabon Mountain, the sacred mountain of the Atayal people, and enjoy the magnificent view of the rolling sea of clouds!

Pick strawberries in spring, admire bamboo in summer, crimson maple leaves in autumn, and snow-white ridges in winter – the trail offers unique scenery in each season.

[Difficulty: Intermediate] The climb takes 4 hours and is suitable for those with exercise habits and mountain hiking experience.

Malabang Mountain is one of Miaoli's famous Little Hundred Peaks. Ascending the Malabang Mountain Trail offers breathtaking 180-degree views of the mountains and rivers! From the summit, you can gaze out over the Snow Mountain Range's Sacred Ridge, a sea of clouds billowing amidst the mountains. Looking down, you can gaze upon the Da'an River flowing freely. In winter, you can even see the snow-white peaks of the Sacred Ridge stretching out, making it a truly Class-A vantage point! In autumn, the Malabang Mountain Trail is a renowned spot for autumn foliage viewing, with crimson maple leaves swaying along the trail, evoking a sense of autumnal beauty. In summer, the Malabang Mountain Trail is shrouded in swaying bamboo forests, adding to the coolness. At the foot of the mountain lies the Dahu Highland strawberry-producing region. In spring, visit the strawberry farms and enjoy freshly picked berries at your own expense. The diverse scenery of each season makes this a must-visit destination!
