Explore the unique Hakka fishing culture of Xinwu and learn about the century-old legend of the stone fish trap

There are only three sessions during this period: 12/6, 12/12, and 12/13. Please note that the meeting times on these three days vary depending on the tides.

Come to Xinwu, Taoyuan, and hear the legendary stories of the century-old stone fish traps. Experience the maritime work of fishermen and learn about the nearly lost ancient fishing method of hauling nets. When fish schools gather near the shore, a sampan is used to cast a net into the sea, with the other ends anchored to the shore. Once the fish are trapped, dozens of people on shore work together to pull the net ashore. This is a rare fishing method used by Hakka seafaring communities. You can also experience fishing culture firsthand, make handmade fish balls, and cycle along the coastline to gain a deeper understanding of Xinwu's rich fishing port.

▲About the Event
- From now until December 20, 2020, the limited price is NT$488 per two people (original price starts at NT$1,688 per two people). Each person is limited to one entry into the "Digital Travel Taiwan Fun" series, and the original price will return to normal after the event. Please note that this event is available in conjunction with the "Digital Travel Taiwan Fun" app game package. Download it on your phone and participate in digital activities such as "Stamp Collection Treasure Hunt," "Fun Spin," "Lucky Scratch-Off," and a special promotion zone. Collect at least three stamps to receive a gift (valued at over NT$100) and a digital voucher ranging from NT$50 to NT$250.
- Each person is limited to one use of the "Digital Travel Taiwan Fun" app game package. The full amount can be redeemed on purchases at 3-5 participating stores on the event day. Please use or redeem the coupons on the day of the event; they will be forfeited after the expiration date. Please bring your smartphone on the event day.

- The minimum registration for this event is 2 people per group, and the minimum group size is 18. If the minimum group size is not reached after the registration deadline, the reservation will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
- Please ensure that your online reservation information is complete. The app account will be verified using each participant's name and phone number. If you are unable to log into the app due to incorrect information, you will not be eligible for the event.
- If you do not have a smartphone, please provide a contact phone number of a traveling family member or friend. Please download and use the app game package with your traveling family or friends on the day of the event.
