Tour Overview
Pingxi Old Street offers a glimpse into the scene where the protagonists of the famous Taiwanese film "You Are the Apple of My Eye" released sky lanterns. Nearby businesses, mostly traditional fruit shops, hardware stores, and snack bars, embody the simple and unpretentious lifestyle of the locals. Whenever a train passes over the railway above Pingxi Old Street, a rumbling sound is heard. The famous Taiwanese dim sum commercial "Little Sister Zhang Junya" was filmed on this branch line. Pingxi Old Street boasts many popular Taiwanese snacks, so don't forget to try them—they're sure to be worth the money. Pingxi Old Street still retains its traditional long-strewn streetscapes, even featuring shops reminiscent of the Japanese colonial era. Besides offering English- and Chinese-language guides, it also boasts a charmingly Japanese feel.
▲Wanggu Waterfall Trail
The Wanggu Waterfall Trail and the Lingjiaoliaoshan Hiking Trail connect two small villages on the Pingxi Line: Wanggu and Lingjiao. The Wanggu Waterfall Historic Trail is a hidden gem with few visitors. Along the way, you'll find remnants of coal mining sites. The trail is gentle and easy to walk, and the distance is short. Walking along the quiet ancient path feels like stepping back in time to the Japanese colonial era.

▲About the Event
- From now until December 20, 2020, the special price is NT$188 per person (original price NT$788 per person). Each person is limited to one entry into the [Digital Travel Taiwan Fun] series of events, and the original price will return to normal after the event. Please note that this event is available in conjunction with the "Digital Travel Taiwan Fun" app game package. Download it on your phone and participate in digital interactive activities such as "Stamp Collection Treasure Hunt," "Fun Spin," "Lucky Scratch-Off," and a special promotion zone. Collect at least three stamps to receive a gift (valued at over NT$100) and a digital voucher ranging from NT$50 to NT$250.
- Each person is limited to one use of the [Digital Travel Taiwan Fun] app game package. The full amount can be redeemed on purchases at 3-5 participating stores on the event day. Please use or redeem the coupons on the event day; they will be forfeited after the expiration date. Remember to bring your smartphone on the event day.
▲ About Bookings
- Each booking can only accommodate 2-4 people, with a minimum of 2 people. The minimum group size is 35 people. If the group threshold is not reached after the registration deadline, the booking will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
- Please ensure that your online booking information is complete. The app account will be verified using each participant's name and mobile number. If you are unable to log into the app due to incorrect information, you will not be eligible to participate in the event.
- If you do not have a smartphone, please provide the contact phone number of a traveling family member or friend. On the day of the event, please download and use the app game package with your traveling family or friends.

- This trip is a shared vehicle. Please keep your contact phone number open on the day of departure to avoid delays due to a dead phone or incorrect number.
- The event schedule may vary depending on the site conditions.
- Please wear shoes and clothing appropriate for the day's activities and bring a hat and rain gear.
- Pre-departure instructions and contact information will be provided before departure. Please check your member inbox.
- Please meet on time on the day of the tour. Any departure or failure to arrive due to personal reasons will be deemed as a forfeiture, and no refund will be given.
- If the group cannot be completed due to insufficient number of participants, we will notify you prior to departure to reschedule or provide a full refund.
- This tour is a special event and is not subject to the standard travel contract. Once you place a reservation, you agree to the cancellation terms.

The cost includes:
- 42-passenger bus transfer (Taipei Main Station)
- Tour leader service fee
- Insurance (NT$2 million travel liability insurance, NT$200,000 medical insurance)

The cost does not include:
- Lunch (Digital vouchers are welcome to be used at participating restaurants)
- Any expenses not specified in this itinerary, including any suggested, optional, or discretionary expenses.
