▲ Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area

Aowanda is located in the mountainous region of central Taiwan, at an altitude ranging from 1,100 to 2,600 meters. The park is dominated by mixed native coniferous and broadleaf forests, preserving much of its original appearance. The maple and pine forests are the most representative areas, offering visitors a breathtaking and refreshing experience. Spectacular waterfalls, suspension bridges, and a natural environment surrounded by wildlife further enhance Aowanda's charm.

Nanfeng Village in Ren'ai Township is a key area for butterfly research and one of Taiwan's three major butterfly valleys, home to over 234 butterfly species.
