Tainan's Erliao Sunrise Viewpoint is one of Taiwan's three top sunrise viewing spots: Getou Sunrise in the north, Wucheng Sunrise in the middle, and Erliao Sunrise in the south. Located in the Siraya National Scenic Area, Erliao Sunrise offers a breathtaking sunrise and sea of clouds, reminiscent of a splash-ink landscape. Those who have witnessed the dawn at Erliao Sunrise Viewpoint say it rivals the Alishan sunrise. The beams of light cast across the mist and clouds at sunrise create a vivid, authentic splash-ink landscape painting, a beauty beyond words!

Although the Erliao Sunrise Viewing Pavilion, boasting splash-ink landscapes and magnificent sea of clouds, is only a little over an hour from downtown Tainan, the mountainous route to the viewpoint is steep. Unfamiliarity with the route often leads to lost paths, delaying arrival and missing the beautiful Erliao sunrise.

Tainan Erliao Sun Viewing Pavilion is a popular attraction within the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration. Not only does it offer breathtaking views of the sunrise and sea of clouds, it's also perfect for photographing the ever-changing scenery of the Tainan Erliao sunrise amidst the mountains and forests. The air quality is also excellent. However, the downside is that it can be quite crowded, so arrive early to secure a spot.

In addition to the Tainan Erliao Sunrise Viewing Pavilion, the Tainan City Government has specially built the "Tainan Erliao Sunrise Viewing Platform," which can accommodate 2,000 people, to allow more people to enjoy the sunrise without distraction. This platform offers a more spacious and comfortable space for watching the sunrise. While the scenery from the Erliao Sunrise Viewing Platform is relatively simple, the overall view is expansive, and there's ample space for waiting for the sunrise.

Travel Notes

- Tainan Erliao Sunrise Transfer Area: Available from any location in Tainan City. After booking, please fill in your "Pick-up Location" and "Drop-off Location" in your booking details. Please ensure you provide the full name or address of each location for easy arrangement.
- The Tainan Erliao Sunrise Transfer Tour takes up to three hours. Please meet and board the vehicle at the agreed time with your driver. If your driver's time is exceeded due to traffic conditions, the driver will charge an additional NT$500 per hour on-site.
- The Tainan Erliao Sunrise Transfer Time will be determined based on pre-departure notification and will be confirmed at the latest one day prior to departure.
- Fun Bar cannot control the weather, so we cannot guarantee good weather for you to see the Tainan Erliao sunrise. We cannot fully control the conditions on the day. If weather conditions (rain, temperature, etc.) cause the scenery to not meet your expectations, we may flexibly adjust the tour to a half-day city tour (the itinerary will be adjusted from 09:00 to 12:00. The route can be arranged by discussion between passengers and the driver, focusing on the city attractions). Please cooperate with this arrangement. Cancellations and refunds will not be accepted.

Tour Pricing

The cost includes:

- Sunrise transfer service from Erliao, Tainan. Private car transfer service in Tainan city (3 hours).
- Sunrise transfer service from Erliao, Tainan. Insurance

The cost does not include:

The Tainan Erliao sunrise transfer fee only includes transportation fares and does not include attractions, meals, any other expenses not specified in the itinerary, any self-funded expenses, or any other expenses incurred by the itinerary.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-6 days (including the 6th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

Cancellations made on the start date of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed a cancellation and will be handled in accordance with the above cancellation policy.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
