Let's play the role of a female ama (ama) and experience the warmth of the seawater in the intertidal zone. Together, parents and children can create their own creative agar-agar jelly dishes, experience the harmonious coexistence between local residents and the ocean, and cultivate a commitment to protecting it.

The intertidal zone is where humans are most exposed to the ocean. It's the intersection of land and sea, rich in resources, and a nurturing ground for marine life. Local residents rely on the sea for their livelihoods and utilize it. Every spring and summer, the seaweed that grows in response to the changing seasons and temperatures transforms the intertidal zone.

Heping Island Park features 20 million-year-old rock formations. Long-term erosion by the windward sea and wind has created a diverse array of unusual rock formations, including sea-cut platforms, tofu rocks, sea trenches, sea cliffs, weathered windows, wanren dunghills, senjojiki (Thousand-foot Stacks), sea caves, and mushroom-shaped rocks. Heping Island Park also offers outdoor pools and a beach area for children and adults to enjoy swimming, playing in the water, and playing in the sand. The intimate pool allows visitors to observe a variety of intertidal organisms. Minimal artificial facilities are used to minimize damage to nature, fostering this beautiful natural treasure with a heart that preserves the natural ecosystem.

Travel Notes

- Groups must be at least 20-30 people. If the group size is not reached, rescheduling or refunds are available.
- Families and the general public (full quota of 30 people) are welcome. Children must be 4 years old and older. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
- Check-in begins 15 minutes before the event. Early admission is available for Heping Island Park's amenities: the saltwater pool, children's wading pool, and artificial beach.
- To preserve records, filming and photography will be conducted during the event. These records will be used for future educational promotions.
- If the event is canceled due to poor weather, sea conditions, or force majeure, please contact us by phone at least one day before the event. We will assist with rescheduling or refunding. Thank you for your understanding!
- Due to the slippery intertidal zone, children under 3 years old are not recommended for safety reasons.
- Non-slip shoes (sizes 18cm-29cm) will be provided, but these sizes may be insufficient. If you have non-slip shoes, please bring them with you.
- Non-slip shoes will be provided for the activity, but children aged 4-7 may not have the appropriate size. Parents are requested to prepare water-resistant shoes for their children (no flip-flops).
- Please bring a water bottle, rain gear, and sunscreen (hat, long-sleeved shirt, long pants). Wearing clothing to protect against the sun is recommended, rather than using sunscreen. Some ingredients in sunscreen can harm marine life. Let's be kind to the environment.
- If you wish to swim in the park's saltwater pool after the activity, please bring a light change of clothes.
- Most of this activity will take place outdoors. Please assess your own and your child's fitness level before registering to ensure your safety.
- Heping Island Park also features a saltwater pool, a children's wading pool, a beach, and unique rock formations. We recommend you stay longer before or after the activity to fully appreciate the beauty of Heping Island Park.
- Group reservations for 20 or more people are welcome. Please contact Quba Travel Customer Service.

The cost includes:

- Non-slip shoe rental
- Tour guide and instructor fees

The cost does not include:

Any other expenses not specified, personal expenses or any expenses arising from the trip.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 8 days prior to the start of the trip will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 4-7 days (including the 7th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 3 days (including the 3rd day) prior to the start of the trip will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A 10% handling fee will be deducted from the booking fee before the refund. Alternatively, the participant can choose to reschedule the event, in which case no refund will be made.

Rescheduling requests due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
