Have you ever been to Taitung but never had afternoon tea by the Pacific Ocean? Imagine a vast beach by the azure coast, a large parasol perched on a picnic mat beneath, topped with the tribe's Macao Latte and sea salt and shallot pound cake. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and gaze upon the boundless Pacific Ocean. The satisfaction of the soul and the taste buds soothes a busy day—life's little joys are truly unparalleled!

Taking "Carnarvon," a place of power, as its starting point, Sam, a young man returning to his hometown, has gathered crops grown by smallholder farmers in the tribe and combined them with Western-style desserts and drinks. The resulting creations include unique desserts like sea salt and shallot pound cake, red quinoa bagels, lemon cookies, Macao Latte, and Roselle Sparkling Drink. These are truly unique dessert combinations you won't find in any other cafe. Dessert lovers, don't miss this!

Attraction Introduction | Jinlun Tribe

Kanadun, primarily inhabited by the Paiwan people, is located in a small bay where the Jinlun River flows into the Pacific Ocean. It is famous for its "Jinlun Hot Springs." Residents primarily make their living through agriculture, focusing on traditional Paiwan crops such as millet, red quinoa, guava, and roselle.

Travel Notes

- This tour is for 1-8 people. Please contact customer service to confirm the date.
- This meal set is available for pick-up at Reka Coffee between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Please select the 2:00 PM time slot when booking.
- The itinerary may be slightly adjusted based on weather and on-site conditions.
- Please respect the Jinlun Tribe and the natural environment and refrain from littering.
Reka Coffee does not provide disposable takeout utensils. We hope we can all join the community in reducing waste.
- Unexplained failure to show up will be deemed a voluntary withdrawal and no refund will be given.
- Pre-trip instructions and contact information will be announced before departure. Please check your member inbox.
- Tour completion: If the tour cannot be completed due to insufficient number of participants, you will be notified before departure to reschedule or receive a full refund.

The cost includes:

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellations made 41 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 5% handling fee.

Cancellations made 31-40 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 10% handling fee.

Cancellations made 21-30 days (including the 30th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2-20 days (including the 20th day) prior to the start of the trip will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made 2 days prior to the start of the trip will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made 1 day prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% handling fee.

Refunds are not available on the start date of the trip.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons beyond the organizer's control, no refund will be given.
