– About the Attractions | Canada's Columbia Icefield Day Tour –

▲Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Rocky Mountains. Its minimal development preserves its natural beauty and rare landforms, and it is renowned for its abundant wildlife.

▲Icefield Parkway

The Icefields Parkway is known as one of the world's most beautiful drives; spectacular glaciers, beautiful lakes, and rugged mountains are evident throughout its 235-kilometer route.

▲Bow Lake

On a windless morning, the Crowfoot Mountains are reflected in the mirror-like lake, creating a still, dreamlike scene. Bears foraging for food are common in this area during the summer, so please keep a safe distance!

▲ Columbia Icefield

The Columbia Icefield is the largest single body of ice south of the Arctic Circle, home to dozens of glaciers. Being here always inspires awe; centuries of climate change are meticulously preserved, creating a truly spectacular spectacle.

▲ Ice Explorer

Take an ice explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier, treading on a thousand-year-old ice sheet. The thought that this 300-meter-thick glacier was formed by millions of years of accumulated snow is incredibly moving. Don't forget to sneak a sip of this ancient glacial water; it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

▲ Glacier Skywalk

Along the fully accessible cliffside path, you'll slowly reach the glass-floored observation deck of the Sunwapta Canyon, where you can admire the spectacular scenery from above.

▲ Peyto Lake

The extremely high concentration of glacial minerals in the lake's water gives it a still, mirror-like surface. Peyto Lake's vibrant colors change with the seasons and climate, making it a representative example of Rocky Mountain lakes.

▲ Crowfoot Glacier

When first discovered, the glacier consisted of three strands, shaped like a crow's claw, earning its name. Due to climate change, one of the strands melted and collapsed in the early 20th century. Now, only two remain, offering a striking testimony to the global warming effect.
