There are 21 spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned cabins, each offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the city. Close-up views include Docklands, Melbourne city, and Port Phillip Bay, while distant views extend to Mount Macedon, Arthur's Seat, and the Dandenong Ranges.

Audio commentary is provided on the Melbourne Star, highlighting Melbourne's history, culture, and attractions. Travel Notes

- Infants aged 0-4 ride the Melbourne Star for free. Please bring your passport for verification. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No food or beverages other than bottled water are allowed inside. Strollers, baby carriages, large video or filming equipment, or luggage are also prohibited. Handbags smaller than A3 size are permitted.
- Melbourne Star Observation Wheel opening hours: May-August 11:00-18:30; September-April 11:00-21:30. Christmas Day (December 25) and Anzac Day (April 25) 13:00-21:30.
- The attraction may close early due to unforeseen circumstances. Guests planning to view the night view at night are advised to check the official website for the latest opening hours before departure.
- Ticket sales close 45 minutes before closing time. Please arrive at the attraction in advance.
- Ferris wheel operating hours are subject to change without prior notice and are subject to weather conditions.

Getting There

- Free city trams: City Circle Tram, Route 86 (via Bourke Street), and Route 70 (via Flinders Street). Get off at Harbour City Shopping Centre (stop D11) and walk to the Melbourne Star.
- By train: Take the train to Southern Cross Station, cross the Bourke Street pedestrian bridge, and proceed to Harbour Esplanade. Follow the promenade to Harbour City Shopping Centre.
- By car: Walk straight along Footscray Road, then onto Pearl River Road or Waterfront Way. Parking is available at the Pearl River Road West carpark and the Waterfront Way East carpark (at your own expense).
