The Kyushu SUGOCA Frog Card is a transportation card comparable to Japan's Suica card. JR Kyushu has launched the Kyushu SUGOCA Frog Card, which is now accepted not only in Kyushu but also in Western Japan, Eastern Japan, the Tokai region, and Hokkaido. Besides transportation, the Kyushu SUGOCA Frog Card can also be used at any store displaying the e-wallet logo. Similar to Taiwan's EasyCard, the Kyushu SUGOCA Frog Card can be topped up at ticket vending machines at JR Kyushu stations, eliminating the need to search for recharge points.

Travel Notes

- For routes that accept the SUGOCA card, please see the Route Map
- Child cards require age verification and can be purchased at the Kyushu JR Station Green Ticket Office.
- The Kyushu SUGOCA Frog Card expires 10 years after its last use if it is not used.
- The SUGOCA card cannot be used directly on the Shinkansen; a separate limited express ticket fee is required.
- Cards can be returned at the JR Kyushu Green Ticket Office. A 500 yen deposit will be refunded, along with a 220 yen handling fee for any remaining balance. If the balance on the card is less than 220 yen, only the 500 yen deposit will be refunded.
