▲ Koyasan
Koyasan is a mountain range approximately 1,000 meters high located in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. Administratively, it belongs to Koya Town, Ito District, and is the town's core settlement and city center.

In the seventh year of the Heian period (1644-1911), Kōbō Daishi (Kūkai) cultivated his training here and founded Kongōbuji Temple, which later became the headquarters of the Koyasan Shingon sect. There are approximately 117 temples throughout the mountain range, and in July 2004, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range." Koyasan is also the mountain name of Kongobuji Temple.

▲Shirahama Onsen
Wakayama's Shirahama Onsen is considered one of Japan's three oldest hot springs, along with Arima Onsen and Dogo Onsen. Known since the Asuka and Nara periods as "Muro-no-Onyu" and "Ki-no-Onyu," its beautiful white sandy beaches can be found in the ancient Japanese texts "Nihonshoki" and "Manyoshu."

Many emperors and court officials have flocked to this renowned hot spring resort, boasting a rich history spanning over 1,350 years. Shirahama Onsen, along with Beppu Onsen and Atami Onsen, is considered one of Japan's three great hot springs, representing the Kansai region. If you've explored Kansai extensively, then Wakayama's Shirahama Onsen is a must-see!

▲ Senjojiki
Senjojiki is a bedrock formed from sandstone from the Neogene period. Because sandstone is formed from solidified sand, it is very soft. Years of erosion by waves have shaped the complex and unique landscape we see today.

The word "shi" in "senjojiki" is pronounced "tatami" in Japanese, and "shiki" means "to spread out." Therefore, "senjojiki" means 1,000 tatami mats spread out flat on the ground. The bedrock area is approximately 4 hectares, large enough to accommodate 1,000 tatami mats, hence the name. Senjojiki, along with Sandanbeki and Engetsujima, are all famous tourist attractions in Shirahama.

The beauty of the sunset here is renowned throughout Japan. Every evening, as the sun slowly sinks below the horizon, the afterglow of the sky, tinged with crimson clouds, and the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean creates a breathtaking spectacle that is hard to leave.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellation Policy for Local Day Tours in Japan

Cancellations made 12 days or more before the selected itinerary date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 8 and 11 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 1 and 2 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 0 and 10 days before the start of the itinerary will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
