Takinoue Shibazakura Park is a massive park encompassing 100,000 square meters of moss phlox, the largest in Japan. The vibrant pink petals of the flowers bloom with a sweet fragrance that envelops the entire park.

The picturesque scene of cherry blossom-filled hills and the stream flowing beneath them creates a breathtaking spectacle that transports visitors into a dreamlike world.

Yubetsu Town has been cultivating tulip bulbs for export since the 1950s. However, since the 1950s, the area has been declining due to its inability to compete with bulbs from the Netherlands.

Due to the city's deep love for the tulip, the city flower, the older generation began cultivating tulips on site in 1958. As a result, the tulip fields have grown steadily larger each year, attracting the attention of many people passing through the national highway in spring. Since 1954, the town's Tulip Park has been the main attraction.

Today, the vast flower fields are home to 1.2 million tulips of 120 varieties. Every spring, from May 1st to early June, the park hosts a tulip festival, attracting many tourists.

Hokkaido Flower Fields Day Trip | Lunch and Dinner Information

This tour includes lunch only, not dinner. However, you can reserve dinner on board at your own expense.

On the return trip, you can enjoy udon and soba noodles at Kitanomori Garden (each 650 yen), but please note that you will only have 20 minutes to enjoy them.
