Located in central Nara, Kansai, Mount Yoshino is renowned for its vibrant cherry blossoms blanketing the mountain in spring. The stunning scenery of the pink cherry blossoms has earned the nickname "a thousand cherry blossoms at a glance." For this reason, Mount Yoshino was designated a National Scenic Spot in 1924 and selected as one of Japan's 100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots in 1990!

The cherry blossom season in Yoshino runs from March to April each year, and the cherry blossom viewing areas are divided into four areas: Shimo-Senbon, Naka-Senbon, Kami-Senbon, and Oku-Senbon. During the season, the branches of the 30,000 Hakusan cherry trees burst into bloom, creating a stunning sea of pale pink blossoms from ridge to valley, a scene both spectacular and captivating. Mount Yoshino also features nighttime cherry blossom illuminations, so travelers hoping to enjoy the sight should be sure to check online for information on nighttime cherry blossom viewing.

Travel Notes

- The Zao-do Flower Offering Ceremony will be held on Mount Yoshino on April 11th and 12th, and it is expected to be very crowded. If necessary, our stops at tourist attractions may be shortened, and our return trip may be delayed. Please note this.
- Due to road conditions, the itinerary sequence is subject to change.
- This tour does not include lunch, but you can order a bento at your own expense. Please select "Add-ons" and request this at least five days before departure. This fee will be charged to your credit card along with the tour fare. As we anticipate heavy crowds on those days, we recommend bringing your own bento and dry food.

- If a guest withdraws from the tour due to personal reasons, the tour will be deemed to have forfeited their rights and no refund will be given.
- The cherry blossom viewing period may vary slightly due to weather conditions. If the departure date differs significantly from the viewing period, some attractions may be omitted, and the entire tour may be canceled. If the tour is canceled or modified, we will contact you by email as soon as possible. Please confirm receipt of this email before departure.
- The bus and tour leader will proceed to an alternate departure point. Due to road conditions, we may not arrive at the scheduled time. Please be patient.
- In the event of adverse weather conditions such as typhoons or snowstorms, cancellation will be determined by email at 3:00 PM Japan time the day before departure.
- The meeting and disbanding locations may vary. Please confirm with the tour leader on the day of departure.

Cancellation Clauses

Cancellation Policy for Local Day Tours in Japan

Cancellations made 12 days or more before the selected itinerary date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made between 8 and 11 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 20% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 30% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 1 and 2 days before the selected itinerary date will incur a 50% handling fee.

Cancellations made between 0 and 10 days before the start of the itinerary will not receive a refund.

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., typhoon warnings, heavy rain alerts, etc.), the organizer will determine whether to cancel the event. A refund will be issued to the original payment method after deducting necessary expenses.

Requests for rescheduling due to personal reasons will be deemed cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above.

If participation is terminated during the event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, no refund will be given.
